What I do know is that regardless of his outward statements, he did find something that you provided for him at the time, and now that you run the risk of destroying his image, he’s backtracking and trying to orchestrate it and put all the blame on you. I saw the chaos that broke out on Hapas and all the blame was laid on you, and now that I know the full story, it does seem like a shady move. I don’t think he’s necessarily trying to promote the white women are sluts/Asian women are virgins narrative considering he built a sub that does the opposite of that, but it’s very evident he’s engaging in blame shifting.
Yeah, it’s primarily hapa men that will get angry and jealous, it doesn’t mean that his message will be received well. Asian women would also leave as well, as part of the comfort in participating in Hapas is knowing that at least the founder is married to an Asian woman, so there must be some legitimacy with what he is saying (even though it’s very evident that he has some questionable view of Asian women).
I know you’re in Eastern Europe so you may not be aware of this all, but it’s relevant to understand the current American political climate. White women at 52% came out in droves for Donald Trump, even though he championed a lot of views and policy ideas that are extremely anti-progressive for women’s rights. Top this off with the fact that his other views against minorities were extremely and blatantly racist. Yet, white American women still voted for him. Right now, white American women’s reputation is the worst that it’s ever been, and they’re being scrutinized vehemently by non-white people, especially by the women and even the men are beginning to have negative opinions of them. Reddit has a huge amount of Americans on it, so you can imagine in Hapas the general antipathy that non-Asian/hapa men have against white women right now.
It’s not a prudent move on his part. The only people he’d be able to keep are Asian men/hapa men, but that’s it. You can’t build a movement or gain recognition for issues like these if you do not have buy in from 3rd party groups who have no relation to this. If just Asian/hapa men and white women who are in relationships support this message, people will easily write it off as a bunch of narcissistic propaganda. If people outside this group, and especially Asian women and white men, support it, the promotion of the idea not only increases in number and amplification, but it would prove the “universal truthfulness” in his ideas if other non-beneficial parties can support these ideas.
Overall, from a movement stand of point, having a (fake) Asian woman is better PR for the movement than a white woman by his side. It has nothing to do with slut/virgin stereotypes for white women and Asian women. It’s all calculated political ploy, that’s all.
