It is my suspicion that pleasures and pains tend to balance. I have suffered severe back pain. I walked crouched-over with a stick for a couple days. "Oh, crap! Does that mean old people are in pain?" I'm 45.

Dying probably hurts. Dentists hurt.

God is also concerned with how you live and pay the debt of raising a family.

God is concerned about societies that are functional.
