inb4 "you should've asked this in the stickies!"
No, I wanted a separate thread in hopes of starting a whole debate/discussion about this Android phone. Sue me.
So far, the general consensus of this phone is that it's not up to par with other Androids so it must be bad. Bad processing power. Bad camera. Literally a potato, apparently. But as someone who is going to upgrade from an iPhone 6s to this, I think it's worth it. It was only $140 for me, with the trade-in.
For someone who uses phones the way I do, I think it's worth the money. I don't game on a phone. I don't take that many pictures with a phone. Hell, I don't even use my phone for much more than 2 hours a day. The only things I use a smartphone for is Steam authentication and social media, other than the usual calls and text messaging. Combined that with a 5,000mAh battery and a not intensive processor which also elongates battery life? It's worth every penny especially when you're comparing it with the shitty iPhone 6s, and even I'd argue the newer iPhones. Who the hell needs face recognition especially when you're wearing a mask. I see no reason for so many pointless features.
With that being said, it royally pisses me off when people say "N100 BAD!! LOOK AT HOW BAD IT IS COMPARED TO SAMSUNG A51!!" Of course it's going to not perform as well, you're talking $180 vs $400. Like here, is it really that surprising?: https://youtu.be/SmfPi2tAilI
The only thing I'm worried about since I'm hearing impaired is how compatible it might be with hearing aids. Apparently it has a better version of bluetooth so that's something.
Do you anons think there is literally no redeeming factor for this smartphone even for how I use smartphones?
