What is really being affected by the new CoC? I can see their will be further deterioration of quality and security down the line because of the type of people getting involved.
but for now could I just use a linux distro with an older version of the kernal with support up to 2024? Can they add in a backdoor vulnerability in the future even with an old kernel? Aren't their distros used by the government or heavy on security that monitor this stuff like Astra Linux or Red Star OS? What about scientific linux? who do hell can i trust?

For how long is this shit gonna work with the stuff you use without falling apart?
You could move to OpenBSD if you don't care about graphics.
