Pic unrelated i wonder is it good practice to put all of your command line tools and your system path on windows 10 Or is it better to just leave everything in a folder and cd into that directory Because I got sick and tired of doing that and Just created a folder on C:\ i was using YouTube down loader clamav as well as steghide and ffmpeg Of course clamav is in its own Separate folder And at this point I'm actually getting tired of playing around with my system paths And just install Linux

Just edit your path variable. Windows 10 update preforms an in place upgrade every time that involves creating a windows.old folder. You might loose all your utilities every time.

Just make a C:\bin folder, and dump utilities there, edit your path.
