Many times I've seen /tech/ asking for a decent youtube alternative. Well today I just found this by accident. You can find political, conspiracy, health etc. videos in there. All exploring alternative content that would be censored on youtube. Unfortunately you have to get an invitation to register. But at least there's now a youtube without censorship. Even flat earth videos are allowed!

I'm pretty sure OP is referring to anything that was covered under the United States Constitution at it's inception (political speech). Speech is an inalienable right, pornography is not.

Centralization leads to censorship. If this place gets big enough then it goes down.

Tor isn't reliable nor fast enough to stream HD video anyways. Maybe i2p or something would work better though

False. shut up anti-tor shill.
I stream Full HD CP videos without problems, with Tor. Try yourself

maybe your ISP or azure server is throttling your Tor connection?
also, you can use youtube-dl to download CP to your HDD, then watch it from HDD

Tor might be able to handle it, but too many people doing that puts a strain the network. I wouldn't do it.
I2p is great if you want to torrent an HD movie, but streaming anything over i2p is a terrible idea (at least for now). Even downloading a picture takes a while. It might just be me though, because I'm behind a NAT (and firewalled).
Use i2p for downloading big files. Use Tor for casual browsing.

/pol/ had a thread to clean up YT. There is sometimes but it gets deleted pretty quickly. How would they review ever little shit someone uploads? Filters aren't good enough yet to determine video content and have to my knowledge thus only been used for demonetization.e

So long as we're talking about Youtube alternatives, can I get some opinions on VidLii? I'm charmed by its "2000 Youtube" style design (apparently they're even adding Annotations soon), but I want to be sure there isn't any problems like censorship to worry about.

I use torrents.
You still have comments, videos, and user profiles, just that people upload copyrighted material more often than their vlog.

Without censorship? ROFL try posting a video being critical of kikes and see how long it stays up for. I signed up specifically because I thought it was a cool new uncensored video streaming platform. Next thing I get an email saying they won't tolerate anti-semitic content so I didn't waste any more time on it.
