Nuria (derived from nutria, the Spanish word for otter) is a young caucasian woman with dark blue eyes and chestnut brown hair styled in twin braids and with front bangs. She has a swimmer's body and shows several physical similarities to otters: she has whiskers, otter ears and an otter tail, her nose looks vaguely like a snout and her mouth (which also follows a snout pattern) seems to have larger than usual incisors. Nuria typically wears a yellow two piece bathing suit consisting of a tight top with a simplified red fish drawn on it, and a small skirt underneath which the fabric seems to turn green. Aside from that, she's not known to wear clothing.

Nuria is described by her creator as "extremely otterpilled", which probably means she emulates a lot of otter behaviours in addition to looking like them. She enjoys swimming, lying in grass, and catching fish (which will at the time become her favourite dish regardless of species). Not much is known about Nuria's personality, but seeing as she models it off typical otter behaviours, she's probably very cute. Likewise, there is no information on any relationships she might have.

Nuria was designed by a nameless anon around the middle of October in 2019, in /otter/'s bunker board on the webring. She was presented as-is to the board, and while there were few reactions, most of them had no trouble accepting her.
