/tan/ - Board-tans

Starting off with /co/nrad. He's a remnant of the halfchan days, migrated here to 8chan in the Exodus of 2014. /co/nrad is a young man with a passion for comics, cartoons, and superheroes. He has short brown hair, sports a goatee, and is on the tall lean side. He has modeled his attire after the Spirit, an old pulp hero, and is thus never seen without his trademark hat, mask and long coat. Following the Exodus, his trademark color switched from blue to green and he gained his own Infinity Gauntlet which he wears on his left hand.

/co/nrad is generally considered to be a positive person, putting up with the incessant bullshit of the comic book industry and cartoon fandoms in the vain hope that someday things might get better. Not that he doesn't grumble about the current situation. His ultimate love seems to be rather to the idea of what (superhero) comics and cartoons can represent, instead of what they actually show.

Little is known about /co/nner. In terms of looks and clothing, he looks extremely similar to /co/nrad, to the point that he could easily be a twin brother. /co/nner wears a cap instead of a hat however, and has a 5 o'clock shadow unlike the mostly clean-shaven /co/nrad.

As far as personality goes he seems to be more down to earth than /co/nrad. He's more pessimistic, less easily excitable and doesn't share /co/nrad's passion for "capeshit". Despite this, he wears a domino mask, same as every other /co/-tan.

Future /co/nrad hails from the distant future of the extreme 90's. Compared to regular /co/nrad, he's much beefier and has grown out his hair into a giant ponytail. His design has gained influences of Cable, as noted by the metallic right arm he now has, and the abundance of pockets he's added to his clothing.

Future /co/nrad carries himself much more seriously than regular /co/nrad does, one of many suggestions that the future from when he comes is not a happy one.

Bos/co/ the neckbear is a friendly bear who sports a hat, mask, and tie similar to /co/nrad and Future /co/nrad. While he does not have his own Infinity Gauntlet, he seems to be able to summon a personal Left Hand of Doom.

Tomo/co/ is easily the board's most divisive tan. She's a young girl somewhere in her teens with short black hair. Her clothing varies, but she usually wears a blue vest with a black skirt. With only a domino mask, a /co/ emblem that seems spraypainted on her clothes, and an open disdain for comics, some question if she can even be considered a /co/-tan. But just as /co/ the board isn't always 100% limited to comics and cartoons, maybe so too can the tans be joined by someone who at first sight might not fully fit the bill.
