I hope most people here remembers 'Take Me Out to the Holosuite, DS9 S7E04', it would be really fucking great to see this concept but as a tournament, each race gets one team and they make out all their differences in this tournament. But not as an episode of StarTrek but as real ballgame-style, every race playing the game to their strengths. What'cha think?

that's one way to look at it, it seemed to me they just accepted that they couldn't beat vulcans and scoring a single goal was victory enough for them. And they felt like they had something on the poor vulcans to whom fun is a dangerous, alien thing.
