When we see Klingons, it's always the warriors, who are usually all GRRRRR WAR AND HONOR AND STABBY SHIT FUCK YEAH, which is cool, I like that, but they can't be all there is to klingon society, right? Like, there's got to be klingon scientists, as I have a hard time believing their cloaking device just sort of happened, to say nothing of the rest of they tech; Faster than light travel, transporters, energy weapons, that shit didn't come from a crazed fuck with a bat'leth.

I always assumed they were sort of like the clanners in Battletech, having different castes that did different things, though hopefully not nearly as ass-holey as the clans are about it, fucking testtube babies. Or what about life in general for the "average" klingon? Is there non-military life on klingon worlds, or is it all warrior-culture? I fancy the idea of klingon bikers, imagine their equivalent of the Hell's Angels, lol.

Is there any canon info on Klingon life, outside of a battle cruiser?

ENT doesn't shed much light on this, though.

Watch Season 2 Episode 19 Judgment. The lawyer talks about the different castes of Klingon society and their developing relationship.

I think in Enterprise Dr. Flox gets kidnapped by Klingons and forced to work with their scientists on making a cure for a klingon virus of sorts. They treat the scientists like shit iirc.

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, and a few episodes of Enterprise featured Klingon lawyers, doctors, and judges. Basically the warrior caste bullied them into quiet submission, but they still exist and work behind the scenes. This was probably social commentary about real races.

There was a Klingon-themed novel I read once that featured Klingon farmers. They were celebrating a harvest festival called Yobta' yupma', and drove around in what amounted to an APC without suspension. They considered themselves under-appreciated.

Personally, I would prefer a Kardassian on Romulan romantic series.

I think you're confusing Cardassians and Kardashians. One is a hierarchical, ruthless race of vaguely reptillian humanoids bent on conquering and exploiting as many worlds as possible. The other is from Star Trek.

>Scientists, doctors, and lawyers bullied by muh irrational traditionalist honour culture

>All smrt people need to inherrently be effeminate weaklings like the moderns who are part of the cult of scientism, a scientist could never value honour or valour

Why is it that liberals who have the greatest conceit of being able to "analyze" society are also the ones with a total inability to recognize the contingency of their own culture? To them progressive ideology is a law of the universe, not even literal aliens from outer space could have a social dynamic that differs from their preconceptions.

If we ever made contact with alien races these types of people would immediately be trying to foment a colour revolution on their homeworld while simultaneously starting an inter-species breeding program.
