I've only being playing for a few month so no bully plz but is it possible to make a living in second life shitting out meshes?

I need to make at least 500$ a month, I can somewhat do 3d modeling and know how to program. Its either this or making shitty mobile games and working along side pajeet for the rest of my life which I'd rather not do

Weapon market is almost dead.

Unless you're established somewhere you can forget about it.

LLCS, you can join SLMCs and get free pewpews and the others are major companies like ISA.

VICE, Boats and Tanks are pretty much cornered by A-T and planes are divided between THI, AMOK and ZSK.

MCE is mostly AMOK and some A-T.

No idea about the other combat systems.

Though honestly, making 500$ a month will take you quite a while to accomplish as you need to get a brand name and such. Success not guaranteed. It's possible though, I've made 400usd in a month once back when I still made televisions in SL.

I'd say just look around for things that you wish were in game but can't find. Make that try to do at least a bit of advertising and repeat until something actually takes off as a decent seller. At that point try making similar stuff to see if you've actually found an unexploited niche.

weapon market isn't dead, it's fantastically overpriced and ripe for someone to come in with high quality stuff that undercuts everyone selling shit at premium prices.

Typical decent weapons are 1000+ lindens and no copy / no mod. Often they are over 2000L and no copy / no mod.

Sell something equivalent in quality for 500 lindens and copy/mod and you will rake in cash. Weapons are a market in need of a shakeup, with an unfilled niche in the 0-500L pricing tier.

I can't say for any of the other weapons systems, but trying to get into the LLCS market is pointless. Most active militaries are sticklers for making their people use their own proprietary shit, the only real use for third party gear is neutral combat sims, which are pretty much extinct.

Am I the only one who thinks this is extremely harmful for the content creators? Since nothing ever goes out of the market, people will eventually undercut each other until prices are low as shit and nobody really has any motivation to create content, since they are going to have to sell it dirt cheap.

I think the market should remove listings from inactive people somewhat, that way, as people come and go, so does the content, which allows the market to refresh itself somewhat.
