>liked the trailers before vol 1 came out

>hated first episode and got assmad about it

>shitted on RT and thought everyone was a weeaboo faggot with shit tastes

>then vol 3

>i-it's still bad

>then that finale

>understand all those things like the subtle foreshadowing in previous volumes come together now

>feel like a dick for doubting Mounty Oatmeals and RT cast who worked on the show

I know that it's not worth while to mention some random anonymous neckbeard likes this show now but did anyone feel anything similar? Like completely doubting the team to create something decent at the end?

now I actually feel bad about Mounty's death. I wish he would of stayed long enough to see miserable cynical assholes like me who shit on him in the past to now pat him on the back for a good job or show some appreciation for his work

>implying this somehow makes the first volume not shit

Just because Monty died, doesn't mean he wasn't a terrible writing, anon.

Nothing wrong with a guilty pleasure though.

There's a stark difference when you watch the first season after seeing the third one.

funniest thing was that Monty was more of the Animation side of it. Kerry and Miles are the writers.

Monty doesn't come off as a very good writer form what I've observed. The plot he was trying to shove into his Dead Fantasy series looks like it was shaping up to be dumb. Not that it mattered since the whole point of DF was the fights.
