Do you guys believe in UFOs? I looked into them before and just found a bunch of craziness and laughable hoaxes. But this video makes a more convincing case that makes me reconsider:

I'm a conspiracy nut. I don't shut something down just because it's categorised as a conspiracy. I take it in and filter it and adapt it if it's the best explanation available while being rigurous with it.

>DUDE CHECK IT OUT IT HAS BEEN DEBUNKED LMAO

I had a so called "supernatural" experience which included me and a reliable friend a few years ago, both clear of mind. To this day he refuses to recall what happened and people just laugh at me.

Even people from lw have told me it was our imagination even though I immediatly knew what to do in order to verify I'm not just me without giving any input.

Does anyone have anything about the moon landing ? I've stayed away from it for a long time and I want to watch something.

I was in a public park in my hometown talking with a friend who was about to take some sort of national exams. We were alone as far as my eye could see. We were both sitting on a bench facing eachother. We were there for like an hour. The park is a little wierd as in most of it is only grass, specifically that part where we sat. Behind our bench there was nothing for at least 10 meters where higher vegetation and trees started.

Wierd shit happens to me from time to time 1* which I just dismiss because I think I have a weak mind (depression, anxiety, anorexia, ocd not-selfdiagnosed )(this actually got me into lesswrong shit), but this was the first time I was not alone or under the influece of a substance. My friend is religious normie type. Doesn't even drink. Used to smoke.

At around 11pm, I heard a young female laugh close to us behind the bench at 1:30 o clock from where I was sitting( We were both siting sideways ).The laughter didn't last more than 5 seconds. I did not react but I made an internal note of how fucking close that was and that it never happened before. ( I wouldn't have used this type of language back then )

What was wierd is that my friend stopped talking.

I jokingly asked him if he did something stupid that day and it just dawned on him.

He responds by saying that he heard something which interrupted him and asks if I heard anything since he saw the reaction on my face.

I tell him I had a shiver come up my spine because of the wierd position I had and ask him what he heard.

He says that he heard a girl laugh right between us on his left, At this moment he is on his feet and says that this 'shit' is creeping him out and wants to leave.

As soon as we left he received a phone call from his girlfriend who was upset that he was outside at this hour. ( I know this sounds wierd, it's just a type of fucked up long term long range relationship, nothing out of the ordinary ).

I thought about how new all this was to me being an atheist an all, you don't really expect this kind of shit to be so easely proven ( as in, for me )

Next time we met up, he refused to talk about it and I could do nothing.Telling him that I also heard the laugh made him think I was making fun of him.

[1] - I've had 3 instances of glowing white humanoid figures running towards me on all fours. All 3 easely dismissed since I was with friends and had consumed alcohol. One instance of cat of similar properties (glowing white ) passing in front of me from one bush to another. Was alone at the time and could not verify anything. Tried looking at footprints because the road was muddy but I could not find anything and why would that type of entity leave footprints, etc (felt kinda stupid because it was dark)

I haven't been keeping up with this. I just gave up. It's 100% not what the media says it is. I would need an entire evening to start researching again in order to form a cohesive response.

If you're someone who thinks it's just wierd I can give you some guiding points for your research ( if you want to undertake it, might be a waste of time )

If you're someone who has already done his research and has a theory you can post it maybe we can talk about it since I can use a memory refresh on this event.

While hearing a woman's voice might happen so rarely in your life that you consider it a supernatural event, it is actually quite common for the rest of us.

you misunderstand me. I am pathologically gullible, but that just means I believe people are telling the truth generally. it doesn't mean I automatically believe any theory presented to me. I believe you genuinely thought you had those experiences… but those two points indicate that I shouldn't believe that they were anything more than hallucinations or confusions.
