19 DAYS LEFT !!
this would be a good time to clean out your mother's basement, and say your goodbyes to all the people upstairs who actually PAY RENT.

It would be very unfair of you to leave your mess for other people to clean up when they come home from court in 19 days

and YES.... of course your mother will look like she's about to cry when she waves goodbye, as the bailiff leads you handcuffed through a mysterious door that leads to the jail area...
she will definitely look like she's about to cry...
but as you are ushered through the door, you'll realize she never actually cried...
and oddly enough, you always remember that at the very last second, her facial expression changed, and she seemed to find solace in the fact that you will have a place to sleep for the next year...
And the short drive back home will be extended when she and her black boyfriend stop to get a bite to eat.
She won't be thinking about you while she's ordering lunch, and although you will be mentioned while she eats, it will all be reassuring rationale, about how "maybe it's a good thing", and how "at least she'll have a year to think about her mistakes, and to decide where you're going to live when you get out"...
Then the conversation will quickly turn back to the food again, how delicious the lunch was...
And as the car pulls into the driveway, they will be optimistic, facing a better future, and giggling like children as they go downstairs to the basement and begin throwing all your stuff into a garbage can.

there's never a car in your mother's driveway.
and she's always home during the weekdays, because she doesn't have a job, either.
but it seems like the other paying tenants would have a car.

it would be easy to assume that your first day in your jail cell would be the worst day of all....
what with the shock of realization...
but that's not exactly correct, because YOU in particular will really start to freak out on day THREE...
that's the day your mother will tell you she's not going to be able to afford so many calls from jail, and recommends you limit the calls to only ONE PER WEEK...
That's when the reality of your timeline will finally start to kick in, as you come to The Bleak Realization that in four more days, you will have completed only the FIRST of 52 entire weeks...

by day three, you will already owe a couple snack items to some other female inmates.
sure, they said "it's no big deal", and reassured you that they realize you haven't had time to get any money put on your commissary account, and you'll have no problem wolfing down a couple small bags of processed junk food potato chips and a few Jolly Ranchers....
but as day three rolls around, the other inmates will have already begun dropping hints, reminding you that your mother will need to put money on your account at least 2 days before you can order the commissary items, or you will have to wait another entire week to purchase any candy or potato chips...
and they will NOT be loaning you any more snacks at that point...
they'll all be quietly watching you, waiting, listening to you as you ask your mother for money on your "books"...
they'll be looking for any indications that you might be having a problem getting money from the outside.
sure, Darcey might put $20 on your commissary account, but it won't be on the first week.
It will be at least 10 days until she's able to get a ride back to the jail, and put $20 on your account.
and she will be shocked when you call her within 36 hours, asking her for another $20...

andv as you are already painfully aware, she will soon have to remind you that she can't afford to keep paying for your stupid potato chips and Jolly Ranchers...
She will quickly start complaining about the cost of your pointless trivial phone calls from jail.
And she will start giving you a heads up.. you're going to have to Simply ride it out.. you put yourself in jail, and you're going to have to ride it out like an adult

and before you've served your FIRST of 12 months in jail, your mother will have cut you off financially.
Instead of potato chips and phone calls, she will deliver 11 pre-stamped envelopes to the jail.
And during the final phone call she allows, she will suggest you write a letter once a month...
But you'll be Too Furious to even worry about writing letters or making phone calls....
Because she will tell you about her plans for the basement...
And you'll realize you're never moving back into her house again

YOU'RE NOT STUPID, ASHLEY
you know your mother won't allow you to move back in to her basement when you're released from jail next year.
you're fully aware this is your final 18 days in your mother's house...
(on day 19, you will not be returning, so you've only got 18 nights left)
so OF COURSE this is the correct time for you to put everything in order, make all of your Arrangements, and I hope you have the decency to clean up your mother's basement before you leave on September 13th.
It would be unfair to dump the burden of cleaning the basement onto your mother and her housemate
Your mother has been very good to you, wiping your ass even after you became an adult 15 years ago...
You could at least show enough respect to clean up your own fucking mess down in the basement.
It wouldn't be fair for her to have to throw all of your clothes away, and dispose of your Samsung tablet
that's right.....
You won't be needing those old Goodwill clothes or Samsung tablet in jail..
It's unrealistic to ask your mother to store your worthless garbage in her house, now that you are finally leaving forever

Ashley, the best advice you'll ever get is right here :
Stop worrying about becoming God, and focus your energy on coming up with a plan...
Perhaps you should be making phone calls? I realize you don't have a phone, because you don't have a job, and your mother won't buy you a phone...
And you can't make phone calls on that old Samsung Tablet
( I'm amazed you're able to function on the internet with that old outdated Android version)
Ask your mother if you can use her phone to make a few phone calls, and line up a place to live when you get out of jail.
Trust me, it's the responsible thing to do

You've got less than 3 weeks there in your mother's basement, so now is the time for you to begin making preparations...
You're not a child anymore, Ashley
You are 33 years old...
Most women your age are already having children and paying a mortgage.
Obviously, you're not coming back to your mother's basement after you get out of jail
So you should call a few places, like the Salvation Army women's shelter.
Tell them you'll be getting out of jail in a year, and you'd like to know if they can save a cot for you

It's not like you've got a lot of choices at this point, since you never took any proactive measures to get your shit together while you've been waiting all these months for the trial...
So obviously, it wasn't very important to you...
You've got no problem mooching off your mother, so why should you be embarrassed to sit in front of the Salvation Army and beg for nickels and pennies?

remember:
you've got only 19DAYSuntil you go to jail....
but that's only18 NIGHTSleft in your mother's basement.
and at this late stage of the game, every minute counts
You don't want to think of it in terms of "only 19 more days left in your mother's house"...
You should be thinking of it more realistically as "18 more nights at your mother's house, and on the 19th morning, you'll be leaving your mother's house for the last time...
You have to be in the courtroom at 8:00 a.m., and you'll be handcuffed immediately after being found guilty, soyou won't be returning to your mother's house ever again
never
Which is a good thing !!
It's good for YOU, as an adult
This is where you finally become an adult, whether you like it or not...
And it's an even better thing for your mother

Imagine giving birth to a daughter 33 years ago...
Now imagine raising that daughter and all of the costs incurred throughout childhood, and for 18 years, you wiped that child's ass and paid for everything...
Now imagine your daughter becoming an adult on her 18th birthday, but she's not quite ready to move out of the house yet, so you continue financing her existence...
okay.... now I want you to imagine your daughter has turned 28 years old, sat on her ass for an entire decade after becoming an adult, refusing to get a job, refusing to integrate into society and accomplishing anything with her life...
Now imagine 5 years later, another half decade has gone by, and she's 33 years old.. she's been an adult for 15 years, and she has refused to pay her own way in life, holding your life hostage, forcing you into a continued dysfunctional relationship with your abusive disrespectful lazy daughter who sits down in the basement calling you names, insulting you, while simultaneously begging you for money everyday...
yeah.... your upcoming 12 months in jail is going to be a very good thing for your mother...
For the past 15 years, you have refused to allow her to live her own life

Now I need you to imagine your 33-year-old unemployed disrespectful abusive lazy excuse making adult daughter who refuses to get a job and refuses to leave your basementviolates a restraining orderwhile using your basement to threaten and stalk a couple of her former friends that make her jealous...
Imagine your 33-year-old abusive lazy mooch adult daughter financially exploiting you while she behaves like an unhinged psychotic platypus with rabies, breaking the law and violating judges written orders, thinking she makes all the rules....
Refusing to bathe, stinking up your house, stealing food out of your refrigerator late at night then disappearing back down into your basement like a 5 ft 7 inch RODENT..
Imagine your little girl growing up and becoming an adult, then spending another 15 years abusing you, taking advantage of you, stealing food from you, stealing money out of your purse.. and still she has the audacity to ask you for favors after stealing from you so many times...
Imagine 15 years of your life and your personal freedom destroyed by an adult daughter who refused to grow up...
Imagine all of the inconveniences associated with being financially burdened with another person's existence....
Imagine how much it costs to survive out there these days, especially with this inflation....
Imagine how hard people are struggling out there just to stay afloat, let alone having to be financially responsible for an able-bodied adult, who simply refuses to work, and victimizes you because they are a lazy ass worthless sack of garbage...
Are you imagining that?.. good!
Imagine having all of your hopes and dreams and goals "put on hold", because you're being forced into financially supporting a lazy worthless abusive disrespectful adult who hides in your basement
Now imagine finding out your daughter is spending a year in jailoh, what a wonderful glorious year! Glory Glory Hallelujah
FINALLY !!!
You finally managed to move out of her house, and she can't wait to take control of her life back again
Your year in jail it's going to be a refreshing Spring cleaning for her!!
She can finally feel young again!
She's finally free to live her own life
This is the best thing that's happened to her in 33 years

Your mother told me all about the minor fender bender.. you were just a passenger, and you weren't injured.. it was no big deal....
But she also told me how you have used it as an excuse ever since, pretending you have an alleged"CAR PHOBIA"
Your mother told me you've used the fender bender and your fake "FEAR OF CARS" as an excuse for years, suggesting that's why you can't go look for a job
Honestly?.. your mother told me you are "full of shit"...
Everybody's been in a fender bender before, but we don't pretend like it destroyed our lives
It's just another one of your many lazy manipulation techniques, abusing and financially exploiting your mother.. literally holding her hostage in her own life, refusing to stand up on your own two feet

Court begins at 8:00 AM, and if you're late, you will be punished by the court system...
but THEY can take all day trudging through dozens of other people's cases, slowly dragging their feet and filing papers.. and you're not allowed to leave...
Whether you like it or not, you have to remain in the courtroom, sitting quietly....
Waiting your turn.....

In fact, the nicotine cravings will play a big role in how you start losing self-control in the courtroom, long before your name ever gets called.. you'll start to become erratic sitting out there in the courtroom, and I wouldn't be surprised if the bailiff has to tell you "ssshhh!!" Because you'll be talking and complaining to your mother and her boyfriend...
But whether you like it or not, you're going to play by their rules, or you'll pay the price...
Which is exactly what's going to happen when the bailiff has to tell you to be quiet a second time, and the judge takes notice of what's happening...
Just Walker is very familiar with you, and they all realized you are psychotic, so he will make a silent note in the back of her mind.. "Miss Schneider appears ready for her punishment today"
