Fortunately, life is full of mistakes, hours and those made by others

And even more fortunately, we have the opportunity to learn from these mistakes

In mice, one of the biggest mistakes we make isstarting at the beginning

It's always best to start atTHE END

If you want something out of life, don't beat around the bush, because people will lose interest by the time you finally get to the point

If you want a girlfriend, go ahead and SAY IT UPFRONT

MARCH 04 2017 :

My wife and I were paying customers at a Dunkin' Donuts in Macon Georgia

I had one of the best phones available back in 2017, because I use my phone to sequence my own original music and create artwork and animation and video editing

I purchased an identical phone for my wife

We were sitting at the table drinking coffee with the phones on the table...

My wife and I were looking out the window making fun of a douchebag outside on the patio

When I leaned back in my chair and looked down at the table MY PHONE WAS GONE!!!!

I looked up, and the young jive-ass black female Dunkin' Donuts shift manager, wearing her Dunkin' Donuts uniformwas handing my phone over the counter to another black employee

I jumped up from my chair and confronted the black shift manager girl, "THATS MY PHONE !!!"

"I AINT GOT YO PHONE!!"

I told Wendy to call the police, and we met a sheriff's deputy in front of the restaurant

While we were talking to the deputy, the girl behind the counter who had the phone ran into the men's room real fast and came out immediately with big wide eyes like a deer staring at headlights

I told the deputy, " I think I know where my phone is", and I went into the restroom, and looked around, I even looked in the garbage can but didn't see it

I was about to walk out of the restroom when I stopped and opened the garbage can again

And I lifted the garbage bag out of the garbage can

And there was my phone down at the bottom

WITH A SHATTERED SCREEN !!!!

When she threw it in the garbage can, it cracked the screen

I actually knew the responding deputy.. I knew him from a vape shop, and he and I Vaped the same e-liquids

But even though we knew him, he refused to rest her for some reason

Instead, he completed a police report and gave me a little card. I still have it somewhere.. this was 6 years ago, but I still have the card somewhere

The deputy told me you've got your phone back. Having the screen replaced is a civil matter

MARCH 5TH 2017 :

I called the owner of the Dunkin' Donuts franchise, an eastern Indian named Patel, and I explained his employee had shattered the screen to my phone

I made calls and found a cell phone repair shop that would replace the screen for $103

I told the owner I wanted him to pay for the repair of my screen, and told him I would accept $100 and call it even

RE: FRUSTRATED

The owner kept telling me in his eastern Indian accent "you got your phone back.. you got your phone back.. you got your phone back.."

And I kept telling him, "YEAH, WITH A SHATTERED SCREEN!!!"

RE: ANGRY

As each day passed, he continued to refuse to address the problem, and I grew more and more angry

RE: FURIOUS :

By the time March 20th rolled around, my frustration had reached epic proportions, my anger had boiled over

I had become Furious

I texted Mr Patel and told him I was going to the courthouse to file a small claims civil lawsuit against him and Dunkin' Donuts

interesting

I texted the photo of the agreement to Mr patel, and told him " I'm at the Courthouse about to file small claims action against you"

he instantly replied:

" I'm on the way with the $100"

5 minutes later, I heard a voice behind me

" put your hands behind your back"

A sheriff's deputy came out of the courthouse and arrested me

I was arrested forEXTORTION!!!!

remember :

"good! Because I thought it might be perceived asextortion"

HERE'S WHERE I FUCKED UP :

If you read the handwritten out of court settlement agreement I wrote, you will see it says:

I agree not to pursue civil litigation or criminal prosecution

DUMB MISTAKE

Because when I wrote the words CRIMINAL PROSECUTION, I had committed afelony

shit

If I had simply left it at " I agree not to pursue civil litigation", that would have been perfectly legal

But it is extortional to offer not to have somebody arrested criminally if they pay you money

FINALLY : THE END OF THE STORY

a new beginning

The case was dismissed, I became friends with the judge, and I did some artwork for the judge, and I learned a lot from my experience

THE BEGINNING

I considered it a new beginning, and I've actually never been happier since then I'm not on drugs, I'm not committing crimes, I'm living a good wholesome life with my beautiful genius wife, and I learned a valuable lesson

MAINTAIN SELF CONTROL

Do not let your frustration and anger get the best of you

The angry frustrated restaurant customer was actually breaking the law

By disobeying the judges restraining order, Ashley Schneider was breaking the law

Each of those would be misdemeanor crimes, punishable by up to one year in jail

mine was a FELONY

10 years in prison

by the way, I've Been To Prison Before..

I served one year in a Georgia Dept of Corrections State Prison for aggravated assault
