Why do you people like you believe the two numbers must necessarily add to 100?
Nothing about the principle at work here demands that the numbers add to 100. It's "X% of causes are responsible for Y% of the effect." It could be 50/10 or 75/20 or whatever. It doesn't have to add to 100
