OP's thoughts:
Without centralized leader it is thought by some that Russia would fragment into smaller pieces and the Rus would be threatened with destruction.
What is Russia has a true federation with all provinces getting and equal say in group government?
The oligarchs and local magnates could be brought along but the real issue, to me, that should be discussed regarding regime change is what is to be done with the internal security forces?
They have been untouched by the war and I'm sure they would like to stay in power. They are in a good position to support Putin or aid the transfer of power.
If Putin can retain the loyalty of his security forces then he may hold russia for the rest of the year but even with the nuclear threat economic realities may weaken the CCP and Putin's regime to the point of negotiation.

but if the new recruits continue to surrender upon contact with the enemy and the CCP fails in its efforts to prop up the Yuang...
What do you think?
