Entropy is the loss of potential to do (useful work).

The early Internet: extremely low social entropy-- you basically couldn't post a message to Usenet without making a contact who'd you keep interacting with. In my own case, within about 5 messages I'd made friends who I'm still in contact with today, and at least all were email/newsgroup buddies for 5 years or so.

Yet with the current 'Socal Media', to make meaningful contact with anyone today in spite of the Internet's network capacity being one billion times greater and their being a thousand Apps for the task, can take one person /years/ to make a single real friend. You could mine for Likes/Upvotes/Dick pics like SM is engineering you to do, but the chances are 1:10,000 of interacting with anyone you can stand.

yea, sure, people don't get along and like each other based on sameness of the genes they have, due to no selection the last 200 years, and an individualism culture causes people go with their nature, that is to become zealots so god may save them, good thing nature is trying to kill them, this goes mostly for white people, but you wouldn't have gotten along with niggers or yellow niggers anyway

but yea, if you're talking about internet friends, I don't believe that shit, not being able to smell the other person, so you can't know shit about them that you need to know, thus can't be friends
