The upper class controlled everything prior to the development of the welfare state. The loss of this was an immense trauma to them and they want it back. Upper class people can not recover from the loss of their monopoly and control of society.
So after the rebuilding of the economy after the great depression in to a welfare state put them in a difficult position. Operating through civil servants the upper class constrained the working of the closed economy, creating a political impetus for a liberalisation of the economy which has destroyed the Western economy and manufacturing base as a counterweight against the improvement of social mobility by the new, open society.
Our economies are unworkable due to the accumulation of debt and the long term prospect is a collapse of the society and the economy planned by the upper class and implemented by China. The aim is to establish a small aristocracy of known individuals who will control the society and the economy, potentially enforced by a mechanical genocide.
The housing bubble aided by aggressive Chinese investment has fundamentally ruined the Western economy. There is no future when house prices stop going up and if they don't double they'll halve and then some.
This bubble produced by a generation, baby boomers, who were raised on a synthesis of left-wing and right-wing propaganda will destroy the West. This propaganda is designed to produce social dysregulation and economic disaggregation against the interests of the State which challenged the upper class. The outcome will be a synthesis of Communism and Capitalism to reward an aristocracy while the rest of us live on minimal incomes. This will reward the upper class with the economy and society which they long for to destroy the people who took aristocracy away from them.
China is preparing for a war with the West and aggressively incites against the West through its state controlled media. This war will be the lost by the West due to asymmetry: on the one hand, China with its Iranian allies will be able to mount asymmetrical terror attacks on the West, on the other hand the asymmetrical deployment of China's radicalised population will overwhelm Western forces and destroy them. I anticipate that all American forces in Asia will be killed.
The Rockefellers or whoever won't go live in China, they will be handed the West by China to run as a feudal aristocracy.
This will burst the housing bubble ruining the Western economy. China's property market is so heavily leveraged that their is no viable path forward for the Chinese economy. The outcome will be resolved by the abolition of private property in China and the West.
Debt holdings will be abolished, fixing the economy for people who comply but destroying the interests of the middle classes and forcing dependence on our new overlords. Production will then be assigned to support some percentage of the population.
The upper class was humiliated by the welfare state and the end of aristocracy. I don't expect titled aristocrats to retain their wealth probably, the world has moved on unless they are of use or have married in to the new elite.
This new elite in China and the West will control everything in a synthesis of Soviet style Communism and the cruelties of capitalism.
Upper class people operate a powerful system of class hatred which weaponises people with wealth, including people who have wealth because they are baby boomers, against the economy and society and baby boomers against their children. People with something despise people with nothing, upper class people are literally operatives who spread propaganda in their social circles to control society.
Social and economic liberalism has produced social dysregulation and economic disaggregation which through the manufacturing of consent has created an open conspiracy that appears to be voluntarily entered in to by baby boomers. That generation was poisoned with the propaganda of the 60s and 80s and millennials are controlled by the media to stop them resisting. Who else has this theory?
