Once upon a time, I bought a lot of dry food and vacuum packed it. And since I had room in my freezer, I figured I'd put them there to preserve them even longer.

However, as the price of electricity climbs, I'd now like to get rid of the freezer altogether. Is it safe to move the sealed vacuum packs into a regular pantry, or is there a risk of the freezing causing water condensation or something to make the foods go bad?

The foods are rice, lentils and mung beans, in case they behave differently with this.

should be okay, OP. I keep vacuum-sealed white & brown rice, various lentils, grains, and red and black beans.

I know vacuum packing alone is enough for a long time already. I'm just worried if freezing causes the remaining moisture in the remaining air to condense, and then make the food rot.
