Here is where I am confused. I'm assuming a lot on this board are in the same boat. I don't use social media because I have know for awhile what is being discussed here. Its not like I can start a class action, no proof of any of the wrong doing behind the scenes. Its kind of a chicken and egg problem.

You could join a class action with the evidence that's out there already. More likely than not, if you're using FB, your data was compromised. Don't know when you stopped using FB but when you "delete" your account it isn't really deleted.

Starting the class action is more work. Need to find a law firm that will represent the class in return for a percentage. If it's a winning case, that won't be hard to find.

My understanding is that FB collects data on people who are not members.

Just saw Q post saying same. I'm thinking people without accounts would have a much more powerful case than members or former members. I never clicked no agreement, EULA, whatever, nuttin.
