I was 19 working for a cabling company out of Reston. The CEO owned the building with attached USPS office (coincidentally where some anthrax was sent out of). That guy owned LOTS of land in Alexandria and had a black helicopter :)

Anyway, we went to pack up computers at Arthur Anderson because we were told they were "moving." All the computers in the building wete paletized andnplaced in white box trucks. We were told that "another team" would get them up at destination and we could go home.

That company was TEXEL CORP who also did business mainly with World Bank and the Red Cross Headquarters. It's the job that got me into "conspiracies," as i got to see them first hand.

McDonough, appointed to lead the state patrol in 2011, said Kemp informed him on Wednesday that he was seeking new leadership for the department. The governor did not cite a reason for the change, said McDonough, who announced his decision at the public safety commission’s monthly meeting. “My family and I thank Colonel McDonough for his dedicated service, leadership, and sacrifice,” Kemp said in a statement. “We wish him the very best in the years ahead.”

McDonough acknowledged the recent cheating scandal that cost 30 newly hired state troopers their jobs likely played a role in his departure.“The person at the head is ultimately responsible,” he said.

The dismissals followed a months-long investigation into claims by a woman, involved with one of the members of the 106th Georgia State Patrol trooper class, of widespread cheating on speed detection exams. Every cadet had cut corners, she alleged. Eventually, all members of the class, which graduated last August, admitted they had gamed the system. McDonough said more supervision was needed and requested an audit by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.“It’s a punch in the gut,” McDonough told reporters at a January press conference. “Our whole mode is to produce an officer the public can trust. This goes to our core values.”Kemp’s decision didn’t come as a surprise to the former Marine combat pilot, who joined the state patrol in 1995. “I’ve been fortunate to have this job longer than anyone else,” he said. “Eight-and-a-half years set the record so I have nothing to complain about.”

The Big Tech war on free speech has been taken to a new level with YouTube taking down video of a United States senator engaging in privileged speech on the Senate floor.

Politico reported Thursday that YouTube has removed video of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) reading his impeachment trial question on the Senate floor during a break in the trial on February 4 after presiding officer Chief Justice John Roberts refused to pose it to the House Managers and President Trump’s legal team. Paul tried for two days to get the question asked but Roberts refused, the first day quietly sending a message to Paul and the second day verbally refusing the question.

On January 30, Paul left the Senate floor after Roberts’ second refusal and held an impromptu press conference where he read his question about the origin of the Ukraine impeachment plot and whether two then National Security Council staffers, Sean Misko and Eric Ciaramella were involved. While Paul did not name him as the whistleblower and claims to not know who the whistleblower is, the mere mention of the name of the alleged Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella provoked criticism of Paul by Democrats and the filing of a Senate ethics complaint against him.

Two weeks ago, in addition to filing a supplemental motion to withdraw the guilty plea Michael Flynn had entered on December 1, 2017, Flynn attorney Sidney Powell filed a second motion seeking dismissal of the charge against President Trump’s short-tenured national security advisor, based on egregious government misconduct and in the interest of justice. Yesterday, the government responded to Flynn’s motion to dismiss based on prosecutorial misconduct, but failed to address two of the retired general’s strongest arguments.

In the Motion to Dismiss for Egregious Government Misconduct and in the Interest of Justice, Powell highlighted the evidence of misconduct revealed in the then just-released inspector general’s report on FISA abuse. While Powell hit many parts of the report, two aspects of it proved especially relevant to Flynn’s claims of government misconduct.

Switzerland Halts 5G Rollout Due to Health Concerns, Widespread Public Opposition

"Switzerland, one of the world's leaders in the rollout of 5G mobile technology, has placed an indefinite moratorium on the use of its new network because of health concerns," The Financial Times reports.

Switzerland is relatively advanced in Europe in adopting 5G. The wealthy alpine country has built more than 2,000 antennas to upgrade its network in the last year alone, and its telecoms providers have been promising their customers’ imminent 5G coverage for most of the past year.

However, a letter sent by the Swiss environment agency, Bafu, to the country's cantonal governments at the end of January, has now in effect called time on the use of all new 5G towers, officials who have seen the letter told the Financial Times.

[…] The Swiss Medical Association has advised caution on 5G, arguing that the most stringent legal principles should be applied because of unanswered questions about the technology’s potential to cause damage to the nervous system, or even cancers.

There have been zero major studies on the health effects of 5G.

On the other hand, there are tons of studies showing WiFi in its current form can have a multitude of negative effects on our health, they're generally just ignored by our governments and media (the UK recently went as far as banning an advertisement warning about the dangers of 5G).

A small study by researchers in Japan has indicated that exposure to WiFi may have detrimental effects on sperm function.

The study assessed the effect of electromagnetic (EM) waves from WiFi devices on human sperm. It found that longer periods of direct exposure to a portable WiFi router decreased the motility rate and increased the death rate of sperm from human samples.

'Comcast, the parent company of NBCUniversal, is trying to block a proposal by shareholders that could result in an outside investigation into the claims of workplace sexual misconduct and efforts by top officials to hide them.

A resolution filed by the investment firm Arjuna Capital, which Comcast Corporation received at the end of December, seeks an "independent investigation" and a report by the Board of Directors about the "risks posed by the Company's failures to prevent workplace sexual harassment."

NBC has been dogged with allegations of sexual harassment and assault for the past few years, with notable personalities being accused of sexual misconduct. Among them is former Today host Matt Lauer, who was fired from the network in 2017 after allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior including the rape of a subordinate, an encounter Lauer claims was "consensual." Further escalating the situation, network executives have been accused of trying to both cover up for the indiscretions of others and of themselves while also allegedly trying to make it harder for the truth to surface. NBCUniversal has denied any wrongdoing.

Lawyers representing the media conglomerate sent a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission asking the independent agency to prevent the vote from occurring at the company's annual shareholders meeting — which has not been publicly scheduled at this point. In their letter, the lawyers claim that they can exclude the vote from the meeting, citing Rule 14a-8(i)(7) of the Exchange Act Release, which permits companies to prevent a measure if "the proposal deals with a matter relating to the company’s ordinary business operations."

The lawyers also expressed concern that compliance for such a demand could lead to additional investigations because the vote seeks to evaluate the "company's general legal compliance program and policies."

They said, "these Company policies and the requirements imposed by applicable laws and regulations are fundamental to management's ability to run the Company on a day-to-day basis," thus allowing it to be excluded on the basis of it falling within the company's normal business operations.

UltraViolet, a women's advocacy organization, supports the resolution. They have also called for the Democratic National Committee to boycott NBC and MSNBC "until they demonstrate they're taking" the allegations seriously.

“Whether it’s Matt Lauer, Simon Cowell, or issues at Comcast’s call centers, Comcast has fostered a work environment that empowers men to abuse women in the workforce, all while corporate executives look the other way — or worse, protect the abuser and silence those who speak up,” Shaunna Thomas, co-founder and executive director of UltraViolet, said in a statement to the Washington Examiner. “Comcast’s piecemeal approach to addressing a culture of abuse only when it is exposed in the media must end. Internal investigations are entirely insufficient and pose a significant risk to Comcast’s brand and shareholder value. The last time Comcast conducted an internal investigation, they exonerated their decision-makers and enablers of abuse and failed to make systemic changes that addressed the root of the problems. It is time for real action. …”'
