Journalist Courtney Friel, 39, made her allegations in a forthcoming book titled “Tonight At 10: Kicking Booze and Breaking News”, scheduled to be released Tuesday.

Former fox News reporter Courtney Friel, currently working CW affiliate KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, claims in her upcoming memoir that US President Donald Trump invited her to come up to his office in the Trump Tower for a kiss, according to The New York Daily News.

In the forthcoming book, which The New York Daily News reportedly obtained a copy, Friel wrote that Trump phoned her at her office weeks after she revealed an interest in working as a judge in his Miss USA beauty pageant, and then told her that in his opinion she was “the hottest one at Fox News”.

“Though he said I couldn’t be a judge since I worked at a different network, he did ask me about my career goals and complimented my work at FNC. Then, out of nowhere, he said: ‘You should come up to my office sometime, so we can kiss,’” the journalist reportedly wrote in her book.

In the book, Friel reportedly said that she was “shocked” by the proposition from the now president of the United States, and responded to him by saying: “I believe we’re both married. I quickly ended the call.”

“This proposition made it difficult for me to report with a straight face on Trump running for president. It infuriated me that he would call all the women who shared stories of his bold advances liars. I totally believe them,” she wrote.

Great White shark ‘kicked to death by group so they could take selfies’

A Great White shark that died after washing ashore in New Zealand had been caught on purpose and kicked to death, a witness has claimed. Video emerged of concerned onlookers and a lifeguard attempting to help the shark back into the sea at Orewa Beach, Auckland, after it beached in shallow water on Thursday. But the shark could not be rescued and washed up on shore again a short time later where it was confirmed dead. A witness is now claiming the shark was purposefully pulled from the water by a group of men who posed for selfies as the animal lay dying. The anonymous source told New Zealand news site Stuff the men ‘repeatedly’ kicked the shark in the jaw and took photos while laughing. When horrified beachgoers tried to intervene, the group became ‘exceptionally intimidating’, the news site reported.

The witness said: ‘Police and (the Department of Conservation) arrived on the scene as other beachgoers attempted to pull the shark back into the water. ‘The group of men gave false details to police and joined the larger group.’ A police spokesman confirmed they had received reports the animal had been dragged onto the beach and repeatedly kicked. It’s believed a gill net, commonly used in commercial fishing, was used to catch the Great White. The Department of Conservation told Stuff it was looking into the circumstances of the death but was ‘not able to provide any further information at this time’. Great white sharks are listed as ‘vulnerable’ globally by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and are fully protected in New Zealand waters. If caught, offenders face fines of up to $250,000 (around £128,000) and six months imprisonment.

While “Q”—the singular person supposedly behind the original account—has reportedly never bolstered the claim of Tom Hanks being involved in sex crimes against children, it has found a home among QAnon theorists.

A recent video from Liz Crokin, a right-wing journalist, helped the theory gain steam.

“There’s a lot of evidence and symbolism with Tom Hanks,” Crokin said in a recent video posted by Right Wing Watch. She listed some of his film and television projects, including Saturday Night Live, as examples. “There’s a lot of symbolism in the work that he’s done. I think one of the first movies he did was something about a red shoe.”

The film she is thinking of is likely 1985’s The Man With One Red Shoe.

“It was a movie about red shoes,” she continued. “We know that red shoes are significant, symbolic to the occult because they make leather red shoes out of babies’ skin.”

An extremely absurd and nonsensical theory claims that some red shoes, often worn by celebrities, are made of the skin of children eaten by their wearers.

Claims of Hanks being a pedophile first cropped up more than two years ago, after a woman accused the 63-year-old actor of sexually abusing her as a child. The claim remains unverified and has yet to change most people’s minds about the extremely likable Hanks.

The Iran claim

Despite QAnon’s consistently false claims, supporters of the movement rely on the rare “accurate” prediction to explain their continued support. One supposed one centers around Iran. A few days before President Trump ordered a drone strike that killed two prominent Iranian officials, QAnon posted a simple message: “something big is coming.”

As noted by the Daily Dot’s Mike Rothschild, Q has also posted repeatedly about Iran in the past. One phrase, in particular, has a tendency to reemerge in Q’s postings: “Iran next.”

“The first QAnon reference to Iran being ‘next’ was a 3/18 drop that also claimed the CIA had been kicked out of North Korea and that Trump had made a secret peace and disarmament deal with Kim Jong Un,” Rothschild wrote. “How’s that working out?”

Rothschild went on to explain that the QAnon poster, typically in favor of avoiding war with Iran, suddenly changed gears in 2018 in support of Iranian regime change.

“It didn’t last long,” Rothschild wrote, “leading to speculation that someone else had taken over the account.”

“Finally, QAnon believers are going to claim Q predicted Soleimani’s assassination by claiming ‘something big is coming’ few days earlier,” Rothschild continued. “Folks, Q has predicted ‘something big’ happening a dozen times. It’s literally the most vague and easily retconned prediction possible.”

Still, plenty of QAnon believers are buying into the idea that the mysterious account predicted Thursday’s events.

6 killed in airstrike north of Baghdad targeting convoy carrying Shia militia members – report

A convoy carrying members of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias, was hit by an airstrike while traveling in Baghdad, media reports say. The PMF said that medics were in the cars.

The three-car convoy was struck in the northern outskirts of the Iraqi capital in the district of al-Taji, according to an Iraqi military source cited by Reuters. Six militiamen were reported killed in the attack, with three others critically injured. It remains unclear who carried out the strike.

An unconfirmed photo of the aftermath of the attack emerged on social media, showing three burning vehicles, two of them overturned.

The six killed in the strike have yet to be named, but early reports suggesting they hit two paramilitary commanders – Shibl al-Zaydi, secretary general of the Kataib al-Imam militia, as well as Qais al-Khazali, leader of Asaib Ahl al-Haq – were refuted by the PMF in a statement. Instead of senior leaders, the convoy contained medics, the group said.

“Initial sources confirm that the strike targeted a convoy of Popular Mobilisation Forces medics near Taji stadium in Baghdad,” said the statement, cited by Reuters.

The bombing comes on the heels of a US air raid near the Baghdad International Airport late on Thursday night, which killed Iran’s powerful Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani and several top officials in the PMF. Washington argued the strike was “aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans,” while Tehran slammed the move as an act of “international terrorism” and threatened “crushing revenge.”
