The above picture is a screen shot of a timeline on the official CIA website at

Most of it is stuff that we would easily assume that the CIA was involved in. Things like spy plane launches, political uprisings and military coups in foreign nations, terrorist attacks and captures, etc. However, two things struck me as odd to find on a timeline posted on the CIA's official website. On January 8, 2011 Gabby Giffords was shot in Arizona and on March 11, 2011 the Tohoku earthquake struck Japan leading to the nuclear meltdown of the reactors in Fukushima. Does anyone else find it odd that these two events would be events highlighted in a timeline put out by the CIA. Granted, the webpage does not specify a category for the events on the timeline. The timeline does not claim to be a timeline of CIA operations, but I had never even considered that the Fukushima event was anything other than a natural earthquake. Why anybody would assume that a natural earthquake would belong on a timeline on the CIA's official website escapes me. Coupled with this weeks news that there was a strange seismic phenomenon on November 11, 2018 that did not appear to be natural or random and the news that on November 30, 2018 Trump ok'd seismic blasts that would test for oil in the Atlantic Ocean proving that the tech exists at least to some degree to create seismic waves. It sounds far fetched but it may be something someone wants to look into.
