I DO shoot large fine for myself, but..if I'm being paid I shoot in RAW so I have as much "info" to work with as possible should I need to do some work on an otherwise outstanding photo. It IS a pain in the ass...and honestly I don't know if I'd bother shooting RAW in THIS situation...but for some jobs RAW is the best way to make sure you've got ALL the data and have plenty to work with.

I was browsing through various news agency's versions of the State of the Union and I realized that although they all seem to be utilizing the same cameras, they all are cutting between shots differently. Even Pence and Ryan are framed differently behind Trump.
My point is …..what if not all videos are created equal? Meaning what if the shot we are looking for exists on the PBS footage or the Telegraph or maybe its on the Reuters footage.
All the agencies may have had the raw footage streamed into their control room where they're own directors switch between feeds.

Learn chemistry. Standard pro film has about 18 micron grain size. There are pixels, they're just not arranged in a regular grid. They're stochastic. Many high-end digital cameras have higher resolution than pro 35mm film.

been hunting for the original image to no avail. I can't even find the shot on video. If someone could post the exact time in a certain film when it showed up that would be helpful. Have looked through CSPAN and FOX at the times that were posted, 9:34 and 9:42 and nothing on the videos anywhere close to these ladies.
my thoughts are that Q confirmed the exact photograph that we are looking for, the exact phone, the exact Photo shopping that was done, and the words that we are looking for. However, he can't declassify it as it is evidence in a case against that congresswoman for treason, as well as a case against who ever photo shopped it before releasing it to the general public. How the hell they ever got a hold of it is beyond me.
Q also said that he wasn't sure if civilian technology would be able to catch it, meaning even the Federal cameras that are in the House probably didn't catch it.
Was anyone else taking pictures of those three women at that particular moment? Maybe there's a picture on Twitter that could be enhanced to show these three phones or even just the one? Who was in the gallery and in a position to photograph these women? I know it would have been someone in the first row and only up to possibly 50 people would have had a good enough angle to make the shot.
We are dealing with a fairly limited range of possibilities here. I think we have eliminated the official feeds for a source, so now we are hunting down still images taken by a fairly limited number of people and possibly posted to Twitter complaining that the Democrats are playing on their phones.
Then again, this might be a surveillance operation to see who gets busy covering their tracks and arrest them for treason as other anons have said.
Can anyone find a "larger than usual" file on the internet and put it back into Photoshop and undo the edits? I'm not sure how Photoshop works but that was a thought I had.

Except Q didn't say that. He asked us to do SEVERAL things.
One was to find the film and download the whole unedited thing.
Another was to find an image of the phone screen where we can read what it says and it has not been photoshopped. Q used the term RAW which might mean a .RAW TIFF file that photogs use, or it might just mean something colloquially like the image before the journalist photoshopped it for publication.
Just as a point of note, one person posted the photo on a source site that had TEGNA in the URL. Tegna is the same as Gannett which is the CIA's 4am news source company. They likely do not provide anything that they have not doctored first.
And the last thing that Q asked us to do, or at least implied, Hey everybody, do not drop everything and chase images if this is out of your league because there is a lot more stuff to dig in order to provide people with the full story as investigative journalists whose work is not owned and controlled by a big media corp.
So nobody should feel that the fate of the western world falls upon their shoulders. Q has likely already secured the RAW data with a chain of custody that will support criminal charges. What we are doing is to give the public and honest and open view into the same source data so that the public can see this really is genuine. There really is evidence that these people are criminals. The public has to BELIEVE that these are not trumped up charges. This is why Mr. Trump seems to be so lackadaisical about all of this. He wants others to prove the case, and then as Chief Executive, he will support them.
In addition, he is laying out a new model for governance where politicians serve the people and where the people set the goals and priorities. Some people call this the OPEN SOURCE movement like Wikileaks and Anonymous

We've established the photographer was shooting STILLS in RAW format. RAW as far as I know is not hosted anywhere on the net, and even emailing a RAW file is impossible with servers like Yahoo (perhaps paid emails would let you).
EVEN IF we found a RAW file or the photog gave it up, it takes special software (photoshop, or camera specific software) to read that file.
I don't think Q is telling us to find a file format no one can use without altering…what are we missing here?

Hey I'm an Art Director for an ad agency. Getty photos aren't usually just "buy" and "download" they usually require a specific usage and are priced accordingly. Most of the time you have to go through <your> company and they open an account and invoice.
Looking for photographers I always hunt down their website and if they don't have one, look for the agent representing them. A guy shooting photos for the Washington Post or WSj probably is major league so you should be able to track him down and find his portfolio.
As for RAW photos it's a Canon extension used to import photos from the SD card to Photoshop. Then the RAW file is saved to a folder on the computer or deleted.
In our biz film=photos vid=video pretty much no gray area there.

There are now very very high resolution cameras that can image an entire crowd at, say, the inauguration, and enable zooming in on one single individual in that crowd for facial recognition. Like spy satellite tech but probably a step less advanced for terrestrial use.
I can't find a link quickly, but saw a demo if it on a website last year sometime. Was very very impressive to see the entire crowd from a distance, wide angle panoramic view, then zoom in on different individuals for blocks and blocks. All from a single vantage point.

At this point in her life, Sarah considers home to be a state of mind—not one place. Before joining the WFAE news team, she was hosting and reporting in the deep south in Birmingham, Alabama.
