Investigative journalist Michael Isikoff said Friday that he was surprised to find out that an article he wrote about Carter Page prior to the election was used to obtain a spy warrant against the former Trump campaign adviser.
The revelation, which was made in a memo released by the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, “stuns me,” Isikoff said in an episode of his podcast, “Skullduggery.”
The four-page memo alleges that the DOJ and FBI submitted inaccurate and incomplete information in a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant against Page. The spy warrant was granted on Oct. 21, 2016.
One “essential” part of the application was the uncorroborated Steele dossier, according to the memo. And an article that Isikoff wrote for Yahoo! News on Sept. 23, 2016 that was based directly on the dossier was “cited extensively” in the application.
Isikoff was shocked, he said, because his very article was based on information that came from Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the dossier. Spent some time this morning looking further into the death of Loretta Fuddy, the Hawaiian Health Director who had a heart failure event in that plane crash back in 2013. Apparently it's difficult and treacherous to reach by boat - there is an annual barge that brings supplies from a neighboring island. President Obama signed an order in early 2009 to add the peninsula to the National Park Service as a monument to the estimated 8000 people who died of the disease since say the late 1880s. The news reports made it sound like it was just to build a memorial, but it looks like the entire peninsula is now under fed national park control. It's not clear what the feds plan to do with the isolated area once the current residents have all died or been relocated to care facilities in Honolulu.
In my pre-Q days, I would have just thought this was all interesting. Now, it seems suspicious. The deep state seems to like finding remote areas out in the open in which to play. This would be a perfect spot to bring children and others, now or in the future. I wonder if there are any Hawaiianons who have looked into this and can correct or fill in this info.

I just thought that was unfair, to make him the example when the president of the United States — so many allegations of harassment against him and I don’t see him going anywhere.”
Gillibrand said that it shouldn’t be a political issue and that Franken “is entitled to a hearing” and if he wanted he could have had one. The problem, however, is that Gillibrand led the campaign to resign — not to have a hearing on Franken. The initial response from his office was to cooperate with hearings about the incident.
“When you listen to some of these Republican pundits talk about it, it’s like ‘Well, uh, it’s just an allegation,'” Behar continued. “I believe one was even Jerry Falwell Jr., who was saying, ‘It’s an allegation. He says he didn’t do it, so he’s forgiven,’ and Al Franken admitted it and got booted out.”
Gillibrand cited the “over a dozen” allegations against Trump and maintained he should be held accountable.
“I have not heard that from any Republicans,” she said. “He should be held accountable and because he’s unwilling to resign Congress should be doing hearings. Where are the hearings on all of these allegations of sexual assault and sexual harassment?”
While Gillibrand said that Franken could have had his hearing — she said that he’s not entitled to her silence. WATCH

Here are the most relevant sections relative to the current need to designate and detain combatants in the current coup:
