Symbolism will indeed be their downfall.

What follows is 6 degrees of separation between the horned goddess, Lady Gaga, and the son of former Quark software CEO, Farhad Ebrahimi, and the interesting tattoo on junior's right arm.

In between, you will explore how alliances are made by big-money tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, progressive philanthropists, the entertainment industry and the liberal politicians who push the agenda of the Democracy Alliance through the halls of congress.

More to follow.

Happy hunting.

The Democracy Alliance was born of out of "The Killer Slide Show" which is chapter 2 of "THE ARGUMENT: Inside the Battle to Remake Democratic Politics" by Matt Bai (2007).

The Killer Slide Show was actually called "The Conservative Message Machine Money Matrix" and it was produced by politcal consultant Rob Stein in order to provoke interest in greater mobilization of funds among the massive fortunes of the left. This was to combat what he saw as already happening on the right.

Stein essentially had a vision for how uber-rich progressives could run the country more effectively as a sort of shadow government of the Democratic Party through the use of non-profit organizations.

Or as said in "The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado",

“The reason it is so important to control government is because government is the source of enormous power,” Stein continued. “One president in this country, when he or she takes office, appoints…5,000 people to run a bureaucracy, nonmilitary nonpostal service of 2 million people, who hire 10 million outside outsource contractors–a workforce of 12 million people–that spends $3 trillion a year. That number is larger than the gross domestic product of all but four countries on the face of the earth.”

“So the reason we’re doing what we’re doing…and the way we get progressive change, is to control government,” Stein said. “That’s what this is about.”

Democracy Alliance was formed by Stein in 2005 as the custodian of this network of progressive non-profits.

"Members, known as “partners,” were required to pay a $25,000 entry fee, $30,000 in annual dues and a minimum of $200,000 per year to organizations recommended by the Alliance. The Alliance would not dole out money itself, but collectively the partners would meet twice a year through its auspices to decide which organizations to fund, forming working groups based on four priority areas: ideas, media, leadership and civic engagement."

Gara LaMarche

"Before joining Atlantic in April 2007, Gara served as Vice President and Director of U.S. Programs for the Open Society Institute (OSI), a foundation established by philanthropist George Soros. He joined OSI in 1996 to launch its U.S. Programs, which focus on challenges to social justice and democracy. During his tenure there, OSI (since renamed the Open Society Foundations) became the leading funder of criminal justice reform, launched and supported a number of fellowship programs in justice, law, medicine and community engagement, established an office critical in the revitalization of Baltimore, and helped create and foster a network of urban high school debate leagues."

From https://www.mercurynews.com/2016/09/18/three-rich-californians-stake-claims-on-statewide-ballot/:

Tom Steyer

“It is really important that California become more progressive,” he said.

Charles Munger Jr.

“Whoever thinks they control the government never really wants a transparent government if they have an agenda that would best be moved by keeping the public ignorant.”

Sean Parker

One of California’s marquee tech moguls is dropping big money into two California ballot measures. Sean Parker, the billionaire founder of Napster and first president of Facebook, has contributed $400,000 to Proposition 63, a gun-control measure, and $3.8 million to support Proposition 64, which would legalize recreational marijuana.

Both initiatives are backed by Democratic Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, who was a guest at Parker’s 2013 wedding — a lavish Big Sur bash that infuriated environmentalists because it involved building a dance floor and other construction near an ancient redwood forest. Parker has given Newsom more than $56,000 for his 2018 run for governor.

Anon, please post this info in the most recent Q General thread.

You will be able to find the most recent one by clicking Catalog on the top of the page. Leave the Name, Email, Subject boxes blank. Put the subject in the Comment area.

They usually start a new thread around 650th post so don't post in the current one then but wait for the new thread to show up and then post it there. The information you found will be valuable. There have been some prior diggs on the Democracy Alliance. It is part of the Omidyar Group. Omidyar is one of the cofounders of PayPal.

This information may also be helpful to you if you are new around here: https://8kun.top/qresearch/welcome.html
