“I don’t think it’s at all an exaggeration to say that it’s a big loss for the city,” Ari Farrell, a friend of Carson, told the Daily News.

Anti-Defamation League Sued for $25M by Patriot Group in Landmark Filing

Disabled Navy veteran John Sabal, founder and President of The Patriot Voice, has filed a $25M lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) alleging defamation and injurious falsehood.

The ADL listed Sabal in its “Glossary of Extremists” which includes known terrorists Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Dylann Roof, and Brenton Terrant, the Christchurch Shooter

While the organization claims ADL’s goal is to “fight all forms of antisemitism and bias, using innovation and partnerships to drive impact,” it has increasingly been accused of partisanship smears against targets on the political right.

The Patriot Voice hosts events county that brings together dynamic speakers and grassroots activists who love God and this country with a stated goal to “ensure that all who attend will leave the events with new hope for this country and its future, and with a new vigor and passion to go home and get involved in their respective communities.”

Prior featured speakers have included James O’Keefe, General Michael Flynn, Senator Wendy Rogers, Jim Caviezel and more.

The lawsuit alleges Defendant ADL maliciously targeted Mr. Sabal because of his politics and his success as an organizer of conservative Christian festivals and falsely accused him of being an extremist threat and of espousing anti-semitism.

The lawsuit reads in part:

That the ADL has devolved into a rabidly partisan pressure group, abusing its platform and reputation as an “anti-hate” group to bully and deplatform those that do not share its Leftist ideology. It has now turned its partisan ire on John Sabal, a self-employed organizer of patriotic festivals. Despite Mr. Sabal’s support for the people of Israel and his membership in a church that teaches the Hebrew origins of the Bible, as well as philanthropy through his church that directly benefits the Jewish people, Defendant ADL has falsely and maliciously accused him of espousing antisemitic beliefs, and—disgustingly—includes Mr. Sabal in its “Glossary of Extremism” alongside Islamic terrorists, murderers, and white supremacists. (The) defendant has refused to retract or take responsibility for its baseless and intolerable smears and has indeed doubled down on them. These lies have devastated Mr. Sabal and his ability to make a living, and he seeks to hold Defendant accountable for these damages.

Mr. Sabal supports the people of Israel, and he is a proud and active member of a pro-Israel Christian church that teaches the Hebrew roots and origins of the Bible and engages in philanthropy to help Jewish communities.

By including Mr. Sabal in its Glossary of Extremism, Defendant intended to and did create the impression with reasonable readers that Mr. Sabal is a dangerous, extremist threat, and did so knowing this to be false or with reckless disregard for its falsity.

Who is Patrick McHenry?

House rules dictated McCarthy, upon his election as speaker in January, provide a secret list of members to succeed him as speaker pro tempore should the office be vacated as it was with his removal. It was revealed following the vote to oust McCarthy that McHenry was at the top of the list.

McHenry, a former media consultant and political operative, was first elected to the House to represent North Carolina's 10th Congressional District in 2004. He was selected as the House Republican chief deputy whip in 2015, and served in the role until 2019. He was selected as chair of the House Financial Services Committee in January.

India Orders 41 Canadian Diplomats Expelled In Latest Escalation

India has again escalated the deepening rift with Canada after last month prime minister Justin Trudeau said there were "credible allegations" that Indian intelligence agents were behind the assassination of the Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar outside Vancouver in June.

India has ordered a whopping 41 Canadian diplomats expelled from its embassy in Delhi. Canada has 62 diplomats in the country, per AP sources, which will reduce the number to 21.

FT, which was the first outlet to report the development, indicated that "Ottawa has been told by New Delhi that it must repatriate roughly 40 diplomats by October 10, according to people familiar with the demand."

Further, "One person said India had threatened to revoke the diplomatic immunity of diplomats who remain after that date."

Initially each side had expelled at least one official in the wake of the accusation over the Nijjar killing. Canada had moved to boot India's top intelligence official in Canada. India escalated at the time with a ban on all new visa applications for Canadians. Each side also issued travel advisories warning their citizens about travel in the opposing country.

Trudeau had emphasized he doesn't want relations with Indian to spiral, and called on the Modi government to cooperate in the investigation. Delhi has shot back that the accusation that it conducted a state assassination on Canadian soil is "absurd" and politically "motivated".

Indian officials have meanwhile complained that under Trudeau Canada has become a "safe haven for terrorists" - given Nijjar had long been designated a terrorists by Delhi, with an award on his head.

Among the latest barbs was from Indian foreign minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who last week said Canada is fostering a "climate of violence" against Indian diplomats in Ottawa. Jaishankar asserted that "our diplomats are threatened and our consulates have been attacked."

India has further charged that that Canadian government is trying to "shift the focus from Khalistani terrorists and extremists" who were given shelter there.

Trudeau at the G20 summit in India, held Sept.9-10 tried to rally Western allies to pile the pressure on PM Modi, but reportedly to no avail, as many countries including the US are wary of harming relations with India and its large economy.

Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries has been accused of exploiting men that were recruited for sex events that he hosted around the world, according to a surfaced BBC News investigation.

Throughout its two-year investigation, the BBC spoke to eight men who said that they were manipulated, exploited, and abused after being persuaded to attend events at Jeffries’ high-end New York residence or luxury hotels in the world’s fashion capitals.

The alleged abuse reportedly occurred from 1992 to 2014.

Jeffries, 79, took over Abercrombie & Fitch, a “preppy” American clothing brand, throughout the 1990s and early 2000s and transformed it from a failing business to a successful and well-known brand.

He stepped down from his CEO position in 2014 with a retirement package of over $25 million.

The former CEO now faces allegations of exploitation of men recruited for sex events and has the potential to be charged with sex trafficking charges, according to two former U.S. prosecutors who reviewed the documents gathered by the BBC.

The BBC said that the exploitative system was a “well-oiled machine” where “recruiters” were ordered to bring young, attractive men to Jeffries’ events in London, Paris, Venice, and Marrakesh. The recruiters would then be rewarded with $1,000 per referral.

According to the BBC, a “groomer” would even shave the body hair off of some of the men before they attended Jeffries’ events. The victims claimed that they were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) that stated they would be sued if they spoke out publicly. The men were not permitted to keep copies of the legal documents.

The victims explained that they were recruited to the sex events by a middleman, or handler, who reported to Jeffries and his British partner, Matthew Smith, and also claimed that they were deceived about the nature of these events.

Additionally, some of the young men were aware that the events were sexual but were unsure what was required of them. However, all were paid to attend the events and they presumed that by doing so, it would lead to them landing a modeling opportunity with Abercrombie & Fitch.

One of the eight alleged victims, David Bradberry, was introduced to the well-known brand when he was recruited by a middleman identified as Jim Jacobsen. This middleman was described by many modeling agents as the gatekeeper to “the owners” of A&F.

“Jim made it clear to me that unless I let him perform oral sex on me, that I would not be meeting with A&F or Mike Jeffries,” Bradberry told BBC.

“I was paralyzed. It was like he was selling fame. And the price was compliance,” he said, describing that Jacobson led him to believe “this is where everybody gets their start.”

Bradberry was given $500 for his time on that day, according to BBC.

Additionally, Bradberry told the outlet that he was invited to an event at Jeffries’ house in the Hamptons and was instructed by Jacobsen to use a gift card to purchase an A&F outfit for the occasion. Due to this, Bradberry thought the event was “legitimate” and “official” and felt that Jeffries was a “powerful man” that could “make [or break] his career.”

When Bradberry arrived at the location in the Hamptons, he recalled speaking with Jeffries and his partner about his aspirations to be a model for the brand.

According to Bradberry, Jeffries proceeded to hold “poppers” under Bradberry’s nose. Poppers are a muscle relaxing drug that is popular in the LGBTQ+ community that causes disorientation and a major head rush. The former A&F CEO then allegedly had sex with him.

Bradberry said that he “didn’t feel safe to say ‘no’ and ‘didn’t feel comfortable with this'” because of the home’s “secluded” location and the presence of Jeffries’ staff.

A spokesperson for A&F told The New York Post, “We are appalled and disgusted by the behavior described in the allegations against Mr. Jeffries, whose employment with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ended in 2014, nearly ten years ago. Speaking up and coming forward is not easy, and our thoughts are with those who bravely raised their voices.”

Two former U.S. prosecutors who reviewed the BBC’s investigation have ordered an investigation into whether sex trafficking charges against the former CEO should be brought forward.

Earlier this month, a school board in Pennsylvania voted against a policy requiring boys and girls to use bathrooms corresponding to their biological sex. The 5-4 vote was denounced by parents and students alike, and the students staged walkouts in protest.

In a stunning reversal Monday, the Perkiomen Valley School Board in Montgomery County passed the policy, which applies to the use of restroom and locker room facilities in the district's four elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and lone K-12 academy by all of its 5,000 students and 760 staff.

What's the background?

Republican school board member Don Fountain cast the tie-breaking vote in LGBT activists' favor.

The measure had first been advanced after a parent discovered his daughter was afraid of using the girls' washroom, having allegedly encountered a transvestite therein.

The father, Tim Jagger, told the Delaware Valley Journal that after learning of his daughter's uneasiness, he contacted district officials, who clarified that students were allowed to use whatever bathroom corresponded with their imagined "gender identity."

According to Jagger, administrators cited a nondiscrimination policy passed in 2018 that had retroactively come to apply to gender identity.

Outrage quickly snowballed, resulting in a student revolt.

On Sept. 15, around 400 students staged a walkout from Perkiomen High School.

One student protester, 17-year-old Brandon Corner, indicated there was cause to suspect the transgender bathroom policy would endanger students, alluding to the 2021 rapes executed by a transvestite in girls' bathrooms at two different Loudoun County schools in Virginia.

Support for the proposed common-sense policy and corresponding student demonstrations poured in from farther afield.

The New York Post's editorial board stressed on Sept. 20 that "forcing teens, especially young women, to share deeply private spaces with members of the opposite sex is disrespectful and dangerous. It opens the door to tragedies like the 2021 sexual assault by a skirt-wearing male of a high school student in a girl's bathroom in Loudoun County, Va. And it lets kids know that their actual safety and privacy simply don't matter."

'I have spoken to President Trump over the last several days,' Gaetz told reporters on the steps of the Capitol after the vote. 'I would say that my conversations with the former president leave me with great confidence that I'm doing the right thing.'

McCarthy became the first speaker in American history to be outed from his job in Tuesday's vote that saw eight members of his own party sink him. Now Republicans will have to deal with the fallout. That not only includes electing a new speaker but dealing with the bloodbath that remains of their party.

'Multiple' people shot during active shooting at Morgan State University: Baltimore Police tell students to stay indoors

At least four people have been shot during an active situation at Morgan State University in Maryland - as the shooter allegedly opened fire from a dorm room window.

Baltimore Police ordered students and locals to stay indoors after at multiple people were hit by gunfire on Tuesday night. The situation is still ongoing.

It's understood the first 911 call was made at 9.28pm after bullets were fired inside one of the campus' dining halls. Multiple casing have been identified at the scene.

The shooter is firing from a seventh-floor dorm room window which has now shattered, police told WJZ. It's unclear if there is more than one gunman.

The entire city of Baltimore has been put under tactical alert.

The police said: 'BPD is on scene of an active shooter situation in the 1700 block of Argonne Drive. We’re asking everyone to shelter in place and avoid the area.'

Baltimore cops confirmed: 'BPD is confirming there are multiple victims involved. Please continue to shelter in place and avoid the area.'

The college told students to avoid Thurgood Marshall Hall - which is a co-ed residential hall with a dining facility attached, as well as the Murphy Fine Arts Center.

Spokesman Vernon Davis confirmed there were at least four victims, but their conditions are not yet known.

A white BMW is currently being hunted by police as a vehicle of interest.

Morgan State University said in a statement: 'An active investigation is currently underway related to a report of shots being fired on or near campus.

'Please stay clear of the area surrounding Thurgood Marshall Hall and the Murphy Fine Arts Center and shelter in place.'

No one is in custody.

Morgan State University is the largest of Maryland's historically black colleges and universities - and it became a higher education institution in 1975.

In 2022, there were 7,609 undergraduates and 1,392 postgraduates enrolled at the college.

MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, donated $40 million to Morgan State in 2020.

Fifty-five Chinese sailors are feared dead after their nuclear submarine apparently got caught in a trap intended to ensnare British sub-surface vessels in the Yellow Sea.

According to a secret UK report the seamen died following a catastrophic failure of the submarine's oxygen systems which poisoned the crew.

The captain of the Chinese PLA Navy submarine '093-417' is understood to be among the deceased, as were 21 other officers.

Officially, China has denied the incident took place. It also appears Beijing refused to request international assistance for its stricken submarine.

The UK report into the fatal mission reads: 'Intelligence reports that on 21st of August there was an onboard accident whilst carrying out a mission in the Yellow Sea.

'Incident happened at 08.12 local resulting in the death of 55 crew members: 22 officers, 7 officer cadets, 9 petty officers, 17 sailors. Dead include the captain Colonel Xue Yong-Peng.

'Our understanding is death caused by hypoxia due to a system fault on the submarine. The submarine hit a chain and anchor obstacle used by the Chinese Navy to trap US and allied submarines.

'This resulted in systems failures that took six hours to repair and surface the vessel. The onboard oxygen system poisoned the crew after a catastrophic failure.'

As yet there is no independent confirmation of the suspected loss of the Chinese submarine in the public domain.

Beijing has dismissed open source speculation about the incident as 'completely false' while Taiwan has also denied internet reports.

Mail Plus approached the Royal Navy to discuss the details contained in the UK report but official sources declined to comment or offer guidance.

David Weiss Appeared To Violate DOJ Policy By Sending Letters To Congress, Emails Show

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, special counsel in the ongoing Hunter Biden case, appeared to violate Department of Justice (DOJ) policy by writing letters to Congress on behalf of Attorney General Merrick Garland, internal emails show.

The DOJ instructed Weiss in May 2022 that he was not allowed to respond to Congressional inquiries about the Hunter Biden case and must defer to the DOJ Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA), internal DOJ emails obtained by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project demonstrate. The emails were first reported Tuesday by The Federalist.

“Consistent with my conversation with [redacted] last night, we are supposed to forward this and any other correspondence to OLA. Per DOJ policy, only OLA can respond on behalf of the Department to a request from the legislative branch,” Shannon Hanson, an official in the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office, emailed Weiss on May 25, 2022.

“David: I would like to forward this to [redacted]. If you would also want us to respond as an office, letting the Senators know that we have forwarded the information to OLA, I recommend we do so through [redacted] cced here. Please let me know how you wish to proceed,” she added.

“Please forward to [redacted]. I would like to respond to the Senators and say something to the effect that [redacted],” Weiss responded.

The internal discussions were related to a letter sent to Weiss on May 9, 2022, by Republican Sens. Grassley of Iowa and Johnson of Wisconsin sounding the alarm on Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division Nicholas McQuaid’s apparent conflict of interest in the Hunter Biden investigation. OLA responded to Grassley and Johnson on June 9, 2022, with a letter saying the DOJ would not provide further information.

Grassley and Johnson followed up with a July 7, 2022, letter to the DOJ about a story in the Washington Examiner detailing payments Hunter Biden made to escorts linked to Russia.

Judge Imposes GAG ORDER After Trump Points Out His Staff’s Links to Schumer, Democrats.

New York Judge Arthur Engoron issued a gag order on Tuesday, after President Donald J. Trump shared a post on Truth Social pointing out his law clerk’s links with New York Senator Chuck Schumer and the wider Manhattan Democrats.

The order prohibits all parties from publicly speaking, posting, or emailing any information about the judge’s staff, despite the clear public interest in the revelation that Greenfield was recently endorsed by Manhattan Democrats, and posed for pictures with Senator Schumer.

Word around the Upper East Side is that Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild has been "run out of London" after the death of her banking tycoon husband, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild.

Someone dust off the red carpet — we hear a VIP who’s been MIA is about to be back on the scene.

Word around the oak-paneled dining rooms of the Upper East Side is that Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild has been “run out of London” after the death of her banking tycoon husband, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, and she’s heading back stateside — albeit with hundreds of millions of Rothschild pounds in her suitcase.

Lady Lynn, now 69, married Sir Evelyn in 2000, and when the heir to the famed Rothschild fortune died in November at 91, he left his storied moola to her, rather than his three kids, Jessica, Anthony and David.

And if the missing money didn’t get on their nerves, we hear that Lady Lynn’s management of the funeral certainly did.

“She didn’t let any of the kids speak,” an insider told Page Six.

“That upset them, especially Jessica.”

We’re told the family was also upset that Sir Evelyn’s best friend and cousin, Lord Jacob Rothschild, didn’t perform the eulogy.

That honor went to a notably non-British pal of Lady Lynn’s, former President Bill Clinton.

“Evelyn had only met Clinton a handful of times,” sniffed the source.

“It would have been much more meaningful to the family for Jacob to have spoken.”

Now, multiple uptown sources tell us that Lady Lynn hasn’t smoothed things over on the other side of the pond and she’s officially worn out her welcome amid the London social set.

“She’s been run out of town,” a source told us with a certain shortage of sympathy.

“They all hate her over there.”

It is particularly a pity, since Sir Evelyn also gave her the family estate, Ascott, in Bedfordshire.

Lady Lynn, who has two grown sons, Benjamin and John, from her previous marriage to former New York pol Andrew Stein, made her own fortune in wireless communications.

She didn’t respond to our requests for comment.
