I think the 0.53% is only indicative of the last day's trading, since in the last week it has clearly dropped 4.4% which is a shit ton for a company like that

Untrue. The digital era is washing TV away. All dinosaurs- nickelodeon, cartoon network, mattel, etc. - will die. Hasbro will be weaker

I honestly don't get what the big deal is. I'm no stockbroker or understand the stock exchange at all, but is a drop from $90 to $86.5 really a crisis? Seems minimal if you ask me.

A small loss compounded by a large quantity can come up to some large figures. Hasbro's outstanding shares as of 2018 was 127 million which comes out to a non trivial 444.5 million dollar loss in equity. Not a financial expert though so take this post with a grain of salt

Basically the guy above me is right but if you're wondering how the hell that works, the number you see on the graph, the thing that is $86, is the price of a single share. There are 127 million shares, that means Hasbro LLC is broken up into 127 million parts that can be bought and sold, and you can multiply that number by the current share price to find out how much the company is worth. So yes, each individual share only dropped by $4, but as the other guy said, $4 times 127 mil shares means hasbro as a company lost $444 and a half million dollars in value
