St. Augustine wrote in his book City of God about various races of monsters like cyclops and others, that if they are descendants of Noah, no matter how unusual they appearance may be, they can be saved.

So for ponies from FiM, who by appearance don't resemble humans at all, but who are certainly rational, mortal animals like humans, the answer could be maybe.

Assuming pones are not descended from Adam, they wouldn't be affected by his original sin. Based on how idyllic Equestria is, it's certainly possible that pones aren't, as a whole, a fallen race to begin with and thus don't need salvation like mankind does.
