As our adventure starts, Bingo is just waking up to another beautiful day in the town of Ponyhaven. Where does she live, and what is her home like?

Bingo wakes up in the sleeping quarters of her authentic Ayy Llama spacecraft, made from clouds with her own four hooves. Her parents were among the first settlers of Horseria, and since her favorite pastime was reading Ayy Llama comics it was no wonder that she got her cutiemark after winning the best young science fiction writer award with her first Ayy Llama fanfic!

Just like in the source material, her flying saucer is divided into three sections: sleeping quarters, engine room (kitchen), and the probing room, although that servers as just a storeroom because she hasn't found a special somepony to probe her yet.

She doesn't have anything planned for today, so what should she do?

first order of business is checking if her sliced grape dipole antenna picked up any alien activity overnight.

Bingo starts her day with a cupcake and a bowl of Daffodill-O's. They're not her favorite flavor, but the package came with a free Star Trotter sticker so she bought it just this once.

Still no signs of microwave transmissions, but she replaces the stale grapefruit with a fresh one to keep looking for signals while she goes about her day. With the whole day ahead of her, what should she do next?

Bingo packs a fat lip and puts on her helmet and reflective vest, ready to head out to the library to trade notes with the other local ayylien enthusiasts!

However, should she reconsider this? While her friends appreciate cosplay as much as she does, the face concealing helmet makes her less expressive and she looks better without it and the vest.

Turns out no one was at the library today, so Bingo just checks the ayylien community message board. There's announcement for a new comic book coming out, a note about unidentified hoofprints near a farm, and somepony's shipfic of an ayylien with a self-insert alicorn OC, and the basic instructions for the grapefruit dipole antenna. What should she do now?

(We're bound to need more characters eventually, so feel free to suggest stuff for any future role whatsoever.)

Bingo takes a casual flight around the town to see if anything interesting is going on. There's cheerful music coming from the local bar, a sappy romance play about to start in the theater, an unfamiliar pony fishing near the sawmill, some kind of altercation between a wagon puller and another pony, and some bored foals hanging around the town well. Does something here catch her attention?

Radio Controls sounds like a great pony for this game! We just need to come up with at least his appearance and pony type before he can appear in the story.

Bingo flies over to the river and lands someway away from the mysterious pony. As she approaches, she notices that he appears to be a completely normal fisherpony, except that in addition to a tackle box he also has a short sword or a very large dagger with him. He hasn't noticed Bingo yet, so what should she do or say?

Bingo stops a safe distance away and asks the fisherpony what he's using for bait.

"Oh hey there! I'm actually using a rusty old horseshoe to fish iron pikes with. I have wanted to catch one since I first heard of them, so I came here just yesterday to start my epic fishing trip. Name's Catchy Bait by the way, nice to meet you."

As a local, Bingo knows that the place to find iron pikes is far upstream, in the lake at the foot of the mountains there. However, this guy might be in way over his head, as from what Bingo has heard the iron pikes eat swords like his for breakfast, possibly literally. What should she do?

-Catchy Bait? More like Masturbait! Hahahahaha!

He sighs and rolls his eyes, but takes it in a good stride.

-Yeah, I've heard that one before. Although I wish I had heard it before ordering the fishing master plague for the club.

-Sorry. Anyway, you're going to need something much more powerful than a sword to deal with iron pikes. You should find ayyliens and maybe they'll let you borrow a raygun for your fishing trip.

-Excuse me? Are you saying there are ayyliens here too? Horseria is just full of surprises!

What will Bingo say now? You have a lot of time for suggestions this time, since I'm going to a party for the next two days. Have a nice weekend everyone!

Ask him where else has he heard of ayys? Maybe bingo can make an epic quest of her own fishing for ayys. What bait should SHE use

-Oh, I have only seen them in the comic books the youngsters like to read. I thought they were entirely fictional though, and that only crazy conspiracy theorists were trying to find them in real life.

Bingo briefly feels like strangling Catchy Bait with her bare hooves, but she's not that edgy.

-Eheheh… Say, since you're such a master baiter, what kind of bait would you use for ayy's?

-Well if they work like in the comic books, they seem to most often appear before lone ponies wandering after dark in secluded areas. I doubt you could find anypony willing to be the bait though, I mean, who on Equestria would want to risk getting abducted by ayyliens and letting them do all sorts of freaky experimenting with them…

Bingo blasts off and lands on the nearest secluded cloud to really "think" about having an ayylien encounter. Oh wow, she's definitely going for a midnight hike tonight!

Even though she can hardly wait for the night, the day has just begun and she'll need to find something to kill time until the evening. She also knows for a fact that Demo Reel back at the theatre owns a film camera, but it might be hard to persuade him into bringing it out on a wild ayylien hunt.

Bingo tries to find Radio Control, but he's not home. He's probably trying to "lose the tail" before coming home, so Bingo heads straight to Demo Reel's home at the back of the theater house.

Bingo explains that she needs the camera for a scifi movie, but as she feared, Demo Reel doesn't appreciate ayyliens as much as she does.

-I appreciate your interest in moviemaking, but what exactly will this movie entail? This is a complicated piece of professional equipment and I am not going to drag it out to the middle of the woods just for some blinking lights and tinfoil hats.

What does Bingo have to say? It's weekend again so you have a lot of time to come up with answers.

-Well, it's porn. But it's really high-quality, big-budget scifi porn, with a deep, multi-layered script to boot! You'd be the first to shoot anything like it!

Demo Reel visibly perks up, but isn't quite sold yet.

-You know, that does sound pretty good. Too good to be true even, but if you can bring me the script and something to show that you're serious, I'll have my camera packed and ready by the evening.

That went well, except that now Bingo needs to find the things to back her up. She could ask her friend Fantasy Star to do the script, but she's most likely too prudish to write this kind of script. But wait, Bingo got her cutiemark for writing fanfiction and is a pretty good author herself! She could write the script herself, unless you have something else planned. What should she do?

Bingo makes a quick flight back home, gets out her graph paper notebook and pens out a glorious sci-fi self-insert shipfic! Since the script is mostly needed to trick Demo Reel into bringing his camera, Bingo writes it full of expensive special effects and big-name actors, while leaving the actual proceeding of events as vague as possible. Of course she can't actually get Lens Flare to play the handsome ayylien invader, but she's sure Demo Reel will come to appreciate catching a real ayylien on film even more!

With that out of the way, what should she do next?

You want spacesuits? Bingo has spacesuits! Should she go with the skintight Star Trotter suit with the face concealing helmet, or the realistic spacesuit with the bubble helmet?

Bingo puts on her costume and brings her extremely ambitious script to Demo Reel.

-Directed by Slow Pan? Leading role by Lens Flare? How did you get all these ponies to make this movie?

-It's a big scene with fans around the world. Didn't you know Stable Cubic's most famous works are all science fiction?

Demo Reel is a wizard with effects and camerawork but not the smartest pony when it comes to business decisions, so Bingo's bluff managed to convince him to bringing his camera wherever the ayylien abduction scene is filmed.

Where should Bingo seek the aliens tonight? Some secluded places include the forest, the plains and the fields around her parents farm. While Bingo is excited about the evening it's still far away, so what should she do to skip the time?

Bingo agrees to meet Demo Reel at her family farm, and spends the rest of the day at the spa getting ready for her big evening. After 12 straight hours of pampering she looks better than ever and is ready to suit up and head to the farm. Anything else she should do?

Turn based games are good candidates. Anything published by Firaxis especially. The Civilization and Xcom games can be played entirely with your mouse. Which means one handed.

Feeling fresh and looking her finest, Bingo puts on her costume and heads to the far edge of the wheat field to meet with Demo Reel. He has been waiting anxiously, and as soon as Bingo approaches he asks: "Is this the right place? Where's the rest of the film crew?"

Bingo really should have thought of this beforehand. What will she do now?

"They said they'd be here at this time, but I can only vouch for myself."

Bingo takes out her grape dipole antenna and gives it a few awkward licks.

"Besides, we're shooting just second unit footage tonight. Some action shots, canned reactions, establishing shots…"

Unfortunately, Reel isn't buying your explanations.

"Horsefeathers! You… You just wanted me here to come all the way here to shoot your cosplay, didn't you? I should have realized this whole thing was too good to be true, but I still can't believe you'd go this far just to trick me!"

Demo Reel is really angry right now and Bingo would need a miracle to salvage the situation. What will she do?

Initiate filly final defences. Initiate waterworks! How mean can Demo Reel be? Lens Flare was supposed to be here and he was supposed to bring the alien and they would show her the ayy ship and now they arent here even though they said they will be and demo reel is shouting and it is all his fault!

"I just don't know what went wrong! Lens Flare was supposed to be here, and the film crew, and there was supposed to be a real ayylien ship with all the special effects and stuff… why would they do this to me!"

Bingo's tears are enough to make Demo Reel stop shouting… or perhaps it was something else.

"Whoa, look at that! I'm so sorry for doubting you, that saucer looks amazing!"

Reel points out to an actual flying saucer in the sky, hovering slowly in the air at the opposite side of the wheat field. What will Bingo do now?

Astonished by the sight of a real ayylien craft, Bingo quickly tells Demo Reel to start filming. He quickly fixes the camera on the saucer, as Bingo flies closer to it. What will she do when she gets there?

Bingo flies straight towards the ayylien craft to say hello to them. Her first ayylien encounter… this must be a dream!

Actually, this seems a bit too dreamlike. She decides to make sure she isn't indeed dreaming…

*BONK*

Oww, that was a bad idea! Why didn't she just pinch herself or something…

Bingo is soon snapped out of her daze by frantic screaming coming from somewhere below her. It's Demo Reel, flailing desperately as he's being levitated towards the craft's abduction hatch! This isn't how it was supposed to go! What will Bingo do now?

Two-reeled, crank operated equestrian film cameras are far from portable so you really can't blame Demo Reel for not holding onto it while being abducted. Bingo on the other hand acts quickly, swooping down and hauling the whole camera up before the abduction hatch closes.

Inside the ship, the ayylien has already tied Demo on a probing table and was approaching him with the sonic probe when Bingo suddenly burst in holding the camera. While its expressionless face doesn't betray any emotion, Bingo's sudden appearance clearly startled it.

"Listen here mister ayylien! I'M your number one fan, I came all this way to find you, and if you're going to probe anypony's plot tonight you'll have to go through mine first!"

Demo reel can't turn his head but hears Bingo's voice.

"Bingo? Thank Celestia you're here! You have to release me before that thing gets to me!"

The Ayylien stares at her for a while, then speaks:

"Bingo. Do not interfere. This is not your concern."

What will she do?

This. It looks like pic related and I bet there's an undercover guard underneath using ayys as a cover to kidnap and brainwash the citizenry.

Bingo has been in many conventions and seen quite a few masks in her time, so this impostor cannot fool her either. She flips the ayyliens mask away, revealing… Radio Controls?!

Demo Reel hears the sounds of scuffle behind him.

"What was that? What's happening?"

Radio Controls nervously glances at his captive and turns back towards Bingo, lifting his hoof to his lips and whispering:

"Ssh! Don't say anything, I can explain this!"

Radio Control pulls Bingo in to the sideroom just in time before she bursts into laughter.

"You wanted to probe Demo Reel but not me? Lol ur gay!"

Radio Controls is blushing and irritated as he tries to explain himself over Bingo's laughter:

"N-no, this is nothing like that! I'm doing this for the search of extraequestrian life!"

Bingo manages to recompose herself enough to listen, as Radio Controls continues his story.

"You know how most ponies don't think there's need to look for ayyliens because there's no proof of their existence? That's why I'm doing this! I need to fake some evidence so that ponies would start looking for evidence of the real ayyliens!

"Wait, are you saying all the evidence of ayyliens has been faked?"

"Of course not! I mean sure, many ayylien enthusiasts do create fake evidence to give credibility to the cause, but that doesn't mean some of it can't be real! I mean, there must be, since the ayyliens themselves most definitely exist. Just think about how ponies get their cutiemarks, do you think it's more likely that it's just magic of harmony or that they're planted by ayyliens?"

Bingo feels quite conflicted by this relevation. What will she do?

We're really going there, huh?

After careful deliberation, Bingo decides that Radio Controls is absolutely right and if probing ponies dressed as ayylien is what it takes to get them to admit the ayyliens existence, then that's exactly what she'll do!

"Your have a point RC, but your plan has just flaw: you're too shy and hesitant to really pass as a real ayylien xenobiologist. Let me show you how it's done!"

Radio Controls can only look with his mouth agape as Bingo dons his mask and throws a cape over her shoulders. What is she going to do next?

Before heading back to the probing room, Bingo stops and turns around one more time.

"RC… How in Equestria did you get in posession of a fully functional ayylien saucer?"

"Oh, it's actually a balloon. No one notices black balloons against dark night sky, especially with a bright light source directly beneath them!"

Bingo nods and heads out into the probing room. Demo Reel is has become even more nervous since Bingo and the ayylien disappeared from behind him.

"H-hello? Is anypony here? Where did-GAAAAH!"

Bingo starts the whole seven stage probing operation, mumbling scientific terminology through the masks voice changer.

"Midichlorians normal… no signs of thetan infections…"

After all the experiments are done and Demo Reel has been ravaged breathless, Bingo turns back to Radio Controls who has been watching her work with his mouth agape. He finally snaps out of it and whispers:

"I think he's ready to be let out, but you'll have to make up a story of where you were during all this." What will Bingo do?

Bingo and Radio Controls agree upon a plan, and with Demo Reel still facing away from them start to feign sounds of battle.

"INTRUDER!"

*PEW PEW PEW!*

*CRASH*

"TAKE THAT!"

*SMACK*

"AAGH!"

With alerts blaring, Bingo grabs Demo Reel from behind and carries him down to safety. Phew! Comic books make this seem so much easier!

Demo Reel is relieved to have his hooves back on solid ground, although his rear legs are still wobbly from the experience.

"T-thank you Bingo! You saved my life!"

"Think nothing of it. Besides, I'm sorry to say the whole movie story was-"

"Fake? Yeah, I figured so. Those damn ayyliens must have deviced the whole thing to lure ponies out here to abduct them."

"…Yeah! Exactly!"

The ponies head to their respective homes for the night, and after an eventful day Bingo is happy to get to sleep in her own bed again. She didn't get to meet real ayyliens yet, but she did convert another pony to believe in them.
