I know how you feel, but it's still wrong. Everyone has a personality before entering a relationship and their personality can really only grow with time; you can't rewire someone's brain. So, if not for healthy positive emotions, the best you can get coming out of a relationship is an understanding.
Holy shit I lost my train of thought. SO when the grill starts liking things the boyfriend likes, it is not that they are filling an empty void, it is that they simply trying to better themselves: to enhance their life experience.

It isn't even just that Mudbriar knows Maud better than Pinkie, it's how and why he does. If you pay attention to the episode, they actually set up that Pinkie doesn't really understand Maud very well. She reads into things and takes things immediately to an extreme. Maud is trying to tell jokes, so she is trying to be funny, so Pinkie Laughs. This even goes back to the rock candy necklaces that they exchange back in Maud's introduction. This is why the 'technically' personality type of Mudbriar got on her nerves. Even though he didn't mean anything by being extremely accurate, Pinkie Pie started to freak out over it. They even manage some really good setup and payoff with the goodbye vs see you around at the start of the episode and Mudbriar calling out to Pinkie as she leaves in a huff.
All in all, the episode does a really good job both in setting up the conflict and the payoff. I'd even go so far to say that this was a stand out episode. I think the slower pace of Maud and Mud allowed Pinkies frantic bullshit to settle easier. Plus we got more of the Pie sisters on the farm.
▶ bb281f (2) No.310204>>310543
I actually enjoyed Pinkie in this episode and hated Maud. It literally was opposite day.
Not sure what I was expecting though, I knew deep down inside there was no other way for it to end besides "Pinkie is just mad because he isn't like her, but that's ok." Really it was a terrible episode idea to begin with. They should have rather made it Pinkies sisters and why on earth they are still rock farmers, and despite how they hate life they still carry on. Now THAT would be a good life lesson to have in an episode.

Should have clarified. I watched some of season 7. Throughout a good portion of season 6, and in the first couple episodes of season 7, I skipped parts of episodes, because the writing was shit and the characters too. Some of the summary descriptions sound alright. But a good number of them look like shit.

Watched the AJ episode. Fucking trash. Just watched "Shadow Play". Dumb title, but it was alright, definitely could have been better.
Especially if they had made it a season-long arc. Why didn't they? Could have had a few good episodes trying to find the relics. Sure, they've done it before. But it's better than cramming it all in one episode.

"Forever Filly" is excellent. "A Royal Problem" is good for Daybreaker if not much else. "The Perfect Pear" is the Apple parents origin story done surprisingly well over all. "Honest Apple" has some very funny bits (Strawberry Sunrise is my favorite character that we will never see again) and a few cute model ponies. Really, any episode from the first half of the season is much better than its usually cringe-inducing description makes it sound. The second half was not so much.

I still don't understand why one of the six pillars is "healing". So they could shove in traditional rpg roles? They represent ideals of the society. She should represent "integrity", especially considering the six are more keen on punishment than redemption. And how is Somnambula "hope"? I feel that that the characters' roles should switch. Somnambula, who looks like a ponified Cleopatra, can be "integrity" for irony's sake, and Mage Meadowbrook can be "hope", as she's a healer and appears a shaman, almost like a priestess.
I don't know. They're still great, but just feel that some of the qualities they represent are lackluster; "rushed" in a way.

Iron Will was a rare example of a popular character brought back who was still good. Usually when they bring back good characters they suck the second time around (Trixie, Gilda, Discord). I didn't much care for how vanilla Twilight's parents were, though. It was a missed opportunity to not use them to provide some insight into Twilight's character. Why don't they act or sound like they are from Canterlot?

"Hard to Say Anything" was a mixed bag. It was an old fashioned CMC episode, but it sounds like the voice actresses were pitched up to make them sound younger or something. It sounded really wrong. It was crack shipping, but it wasn't an irritating pairing. I do wonder what happened with Marble. I guess they figured that she was a little too closely related to Big Mac.
God, what is with all the retarded faggots in this thread? We have a sperg posting jap trash, a furfag, and some CIA cock-polisher who actually likes Discord. Fuck off back to whatever hole you crawled out of, retards.

I'm not having an argument, you dumb malfunctioning nigger. It's just funny to me that you're so pathetically insecure in absolutely every facet of your life. You can't possibly allow yourself to believe that more than one person could disagree with you because then you'd feel bad and cry, wouldn't you.

That was weird, wasn't it? I think it refered to the Nightmare spirit/essence/whatever that had infected Luna. What's really weird, though, is that it was all a part of Starlight Glimmer's imagination, yet Celestia and Luna acted like such a thing was possible. I guess Celestia must have entertained fantasies about going evil and frying everybody at least at some point.
