Finale Part 1 was pretty weak, I felt like the obstacles the poners faced in collecting the artifacts were a waste of time. Part two was better glad the Elements are back, still waiting for Twilight to lose her wings.

It seems ep.23 is in 'breaking news' if you're ready to see it now.

Despite terrible reviews in here, I'm likely to watch the movie to celebrate my birthday, as it's next Tuesday.

Also I used to have a sugarstar. It was actually painful to use. Hazel is pretty nice to me, though.

I watched Secret and Pies and Uncommon Bond today.

I thought Secrets and Pies was going to be cringy, only because the title sounds like 'secrets and lies', a line from Party of One, and I feared they were going to make Pinkie crazy like some bad fanfic. Luckily, it was mostly just Pinkie being cute and over reacting about Dash not liking pies. I liked it.

Uncommon Bond was ok. It was nice seeing Starburst interact with Twilight, Trixie and Maud. I liked Trixie's part the best. I also liked Starlights attempt to regress them back to foals; it was desperate and a little bit sad, and cute. Moral was nice, as someone who has friends who live across the country who have varying levels of common interests. It does take work to maintain those friendships.

Haven't watched the finale yet, but for the most part, this season has been pleasant.

Yeah, "Secrets and Pies" was surprisingly good. It had a simple premise that it milked for every ounce of comedy that it was worth. The various ways in which Rainbow disposed of the pies were priceless, and Pinkie Pie's slow burn was one of the funniest things that has been on the show in years.

Waited to watch Secrets and Pies on stream. I really enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I liked what they did with the grotesque garbage pie monstrosity. A lot of shows have done much worse, and it really wan't that bad in comparison, I just hope it doesn't go further.

I enjoyed Piemare Dash.

I like that these episodes are going back and mentioning stuff from previous episodes while simultaneously adding to the lore.

About the only nice things we can say about this season is that at least they brought back Iron Will, only to turn him into more of a stereotype than he already was Gave celestia a role and gave her the emotional maturity of a teenager and showed us Starswirl, he was such a massive asshole his attitude turned a friend into a supervillain

But at least Trixie came back without being ruined in the process.

There where some good episodes, but overall, the show continued its downward spiral in terms of world building and character development.

So what do you think the Pillars are gonna do now that they're back in Equestria? Somnambula and Meadowbrook both kinda have homes to go back to. Starswirl might move into the Castle of the Two Sisters just to be close to the Tree. Flash will probably just move back to Cloudsdale to be with the other pegasi. Mistmane sorta wandered back in the old days and Rockhoof's home is a ruin, so they might just end up living as hermits if they don't wanna settle down with anyone else.

"Campfire Tales was only good for three things: wet-maned Rarity, Mist Mane, and Sweetie Belle taking a load in the eye.

"A Health of Information" was good for wet Zecora, and that's about it.

"Once Upon a Zeppelin" sucked apart from Iron Will who remains awesome.

"To Change a Changeling" and "Uncommon Bond" were weak.

Maybe I will have to watch "Shadow Play" some time, but I have a hard time getting excited for epic two-part adventures anymore. "The Cutie Map" has been the only genuinely good one since 2011, and even that one needs an asterisk for having introduced that silly-assed map. Okay, in fairness, the Season Six finale was not bad, but… gay rainbow deer-moths.
