The Masons are an extension of the Jewish rule of refuge. The Torah states if a Jew comes to your town fleeing justice for any crime he did against non-jews then Jews are to give him refuge and protect him. Freemasons aren't that powerful. Look at any Lodge and it is most likely a run down building with a couple generic cars in the parking lot. Elite or powerful doesn't enter your mind if you've ever met a Mason. There's so much old disinformation out there on Freemasons. I've yet to see any modern evidence of Masonic power in the US or world. I'm open to any evidence.
