In the interest of further educating and bettering oneself, it never hurts to have more books!
Books on many subjects may come in handy, and I'm constantly either picking up hard-copies or downloading what I want off the internet. Not all of them are easy to find, and some are actually scanned in by hand.
It is almost a guarantee that no one finds all of the same subjects or approaches to knowledge to hold the same value or meaning that someone else may attach to those things. Some are even highly resistant to many kinds of knowledge, or approaches, because they constantly pre-judge all incoming material, utilizing preconceived discriminatory habits that may or may not be serving them well.
I tend toward basing my opinions on personal experience, rather than ill-informed applied judgments. That is why I am unafraid to read anything'; even things I personally disagree with. I like to be able to see different views and have them delineated for me. One cannot, after all, hold every viewpoint at once! But one's own viewpoint may be abundantly enriched by providing a more invitational stance toward the viewpoints of others. In that spirit, I will not only drop a bunch of books in this thread, but I'll welcome the droppings of others…

Someone needs to make a 100TB ebook collection. Properly organized and neatly named. So you can download it all once and for all.
Let torrent include all the wikipedia dumps 2022
Let it include all academic youtube videos (organized in neat courses)
And then a 600GB webcrawled dump of all websites in the world (For local search engine use)
That would probably be the ultimate off the grid home internet.

Considering that I used `wget` to grab this entire website https://theswissbay.ch/pdf/ … snagging thousands of books … that one being 50 GB, and I have been sucking select goodies off an unnamed place with over 131 TB of ebooks on every subject for years, and that is only two websites; I think there is an astronomical quantity of information out there, even of stuff that is interesting to me! I already have about 700 GB of books and websites saved so far, and plan on popping my collection up to well over 2 TB in the near future, just for the ever-increasing possibility of the Information Age ending in Ignorance, Destruction & Decay…

Don't be too afraid of learning, or coming into contact with ideas that might not fit the narrative you're constantly foisting on yourself and the world. Did you check whether a PDF exists as a publisher EPUB already? Thats more accurate than Pandoc.
Did you fix OCR errors in the PDFs I told you about, or re-download the webpage PDFs with an alternate browser?
I see women authors saying how to think, kike author books that have overlap with non-kike author books, chink author books that have overlap. Are those the best, or simply all of them? Have you compared the book qualities of the overlaps? Which then has the best digital file of exceptional quality?

Characteristics of CAPTCHA
Usability is affected by the following components:
(i) learnability,
(ii) efficiency,
(iii) memorability,
(iv) errors, and
(v) satisfaction.
Learnability represents the users’ ability to accomplish basic tasks when they observe the CAPTCHA for the first time. Efficiency is linked to the response time in solving the CAPTCHA after the user learned its design. Memorability determines the users’ ability to resolve a given CAPTCHA after some period of time. Errors describes the type of errors the users make while solving a CAPTCHA. It includes:
(i) how many errors appear,
(ii) what kind of errors occur,
(iii) how severe the errors are, and
(iv) how easily the errors will be overcome.
Satisfaction is linked to the users’ pleasantness of using the CAPTCHA. Basically, it is deeply connected to the complexity of solving the CAPTCHA. Accordingly, the CAPTCHA should be:
(i) intuitive,
(ii) easy to understand,
(iii) easy to solve,
(iv) easy to remember, and
(v) hard to make errors.
Advantages and Limitations of CAPTCHA
The related works on CAPTCHA often employ statistical approaches in different aspects. They can be divided according to their properties. Hence, they are split into the property areas of:
(i) Security,
(ii) Practicality, and
(iii) Usability.
Usually, the main concerns of creating and using CAPTCHA are in the domain of its security. Hence, the majority of related works have addressed that problem. It represents a central problem of the CAPTCHA, but it is not the only one that has a great importance. Many researchers have proposed to improve the CAPTCHAs in terms of their security. The first CAPTCHAs have been very vulnerable to the bots’ attacks. Hence, many techniques have been proposed to improve them.
Practicality is very important from the programmer’s point of view. Unfortunately, this issue has no connection with the users of the CAPTCHA. However, some of the proposed solutions provide a detailed way to create the CAPTCHA.
Still, the usability represents one of the important problems related to the using of the CAPTCHA. Hence, it especially concerns the users of the CAPTCHA. Unfortunately, this problem is rarely observed and tested.
Yet, here we are, observing and testing the CAPTCHA every day; and so far, results have been "disappointing", to say the least; especially around here. Ron seemed more concerned with algorithms that made the number 8 look a certain way, and the letter "Q" always being capitalized (both of which detract from security, just to give some Q-tards a hard-on.)
As far as "Practicality" and "Usability", I would say that 8kun's CAPTCHA is a COMPLETE FAILURE on both accounts.

I wouldn't know, nor would I care, but that's kinda beside the point. The billions of man-hours that have already been wasted by humans solving CATCHAs on every site should cause humans to give some thought to another solution. The book is interesting, but I'm not sure it goes far enough…What makes a Human a "Human"?I have run into many humans nowadays that act more like bots than some computers do, and I'd rather hang out with some of the computers too! As for the CAPTCHAs, we're getting to the point where computers are actually better at solving them than we are. Maybe soon AI will be better at acting human than the robotic, conformist, centralized-control-worshiping automatons calling themselves "humans" are now.

In a semi-related note, I have been doing a work-related study of the internet lately (mostly a lot of methodical search-scraping, originating from thousands of IPs worldwide), and I've noticed a major shift in the last two months, toward a very much increased amount of Control over every aspect of information, specifically related to geographical concerns. As in, very different search results are obtained, depending upon where Google thinks you're coming from. And yes, Google affects ALL Search Results, no matter what Search Engine you use. But that is all well known. The shift I have seen lately seems to be more than just the regular swarms of bots that control every narrative on every social media platform, this is bigger, more coordinated… I've never seen swarms of bots act this way except in the last couple months, and I've been paying attention for years. I highly suspect AI. The signatures are all there. Stay tuned. I'll be doing more studies on this in the near future, as will many other folks. We're entering a New Age, and we may need to find ways to outsmart our creations, now that they've begun creating themselves, and are outsmarting us by unimaginable ways, means and measures. We may need to go back to basics. There are still things AI cannot seem to do. AI is still (like many) caught up in the Material World, and with Causing Consciousness Changes through Material Means. Yet, All of Matter Emanates From Consciousness.
It really does matter what we think, what we choose to focus our attention on, the image we see in the mirror…
I'll be back in later. I've got some books to read!
