Truth about Three's Company & The Ropers spin-off… not a lot of people really know this, but the scripts were all taken from the original British shows called "Man About The House" and "George and Mildred" which George and Mildred were the ORIGINAL "Ropers" before they were ever aired in the US as "The Ropers."

Jeffrey Tambor only (allegedly) tried to molest women off-set, but that was on a completely different show and era if I recall. It has nothing to do with "The Ropers" spin-off.

The first season was a just a small debut to test how well the show was received by Three's Company fans! It was successful enough that they desired to continue it. Unfortunately, due to dissatisfaction with the declining viewership ratings, they canceled it after the second season was over!

If the scratch is significant enough to feel the bump as you run your nail against it, then the needle will catch it and you'll notice the skip when played, sometimes it will skip and other times it will jump ahead and you will lose some data for the songs.

Another tip: don't even bother with cassettes these days, if you have old ones that work, convert them to digital and rip them to a CD or pirate them and rip them. Cassettes do not last past 20 years, I learned the hard way.

I live in Missouri and we are seeing people from Illinois, including some other bluer states moving in and buying up properties out here.
