This is a thread to remember the episode when 8chan was shut down, apparently after someone has made a post on how to rig an election and then Pasha Shturgunov a.k.a Brenton Tarrant supposedly appeared on the board to share his manifesto, that was apparently followed by an episode of successive suspicious activities on 8chan, as the picture attached suggest, that may be associated to a coordinated attempt to take 8chan down.
We are facing a spamming attack here, so I suggest everyone here to download the data from that Chan that may be valuable, so that in case that board goes down, you have already saved the content on your device.

I used to spider websites all the time but don't bother anymore. Most sites now can detect spider software or 'bots' and will just block the content. The detection tools & surveillance sites have today is significantly much better then the last decade.

To answer you question: browser metadata. That's how. You can't just spoof IPs and wipe sqlite browser session data anymore to remain anonymous. You have a lot more to learn when it comes to OPSEC. Browser metadata can be spoofed, if you don't spoof it they can detect 'you' by your browser agent and even header metadata. Also beware of WebGL and WebRTC, all new browsers use these protocols, and they are very vulnerable. These two protocols can be used to expose your real location and real IP address. If they are exploiting WebGL and WebRTC then they know exactly who you are by now (your VPN be damned). Learn about:config and prefs.js editing and how to secure the browser you are using. Also, if you are not using more than one web browser for different activities, departmentalizing online activity, start now. The surveillance has only grown a lot online since the Snowden leaks and you need to learn how to adapt.

/pnd/ has been dead for a while, I guess it all depends if people accept censored platforms and sadly most people do.
