Kiss only played 2 songs? lol. Never really cared for them much anyway.
I dig some of that old school blues rock (Melvin Taylor, Elvin Bishop, Point Blank, Danny Brooks et al). I'll listen to Big Band Swing era stuff too (Bobby Hackett, Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, older Peggy Lee, et al) once in a while. Love the 50s Doo Wop era (Gene Chandler, Barry Mann, Dion & The Belmonts, The Drifters, The Penguins, The Rivingtons, The Coasters et al). Like some of the 60s, 70s & 80s rock n roll scene too (Scorpions, Deep Purple, Blackfoot, Nazareth, ZZ Top, AC/DC, George Thorogood, Manfred Mann's Earth Band et al). I can even listen to some heavy metal like Metallica and Megadeth (but only once in a blue moon, as long as it comes up on a random shuffle in a collection). Otherwise I like like a lot of the older stuff. Older country is great too (Slim Whitman, Willie Nelson, Johnny Horton, Skeeter Davis, The Dillards et al).
But I agree, even though I've bought a bunch of older records, cassettes and CDs I still pirate most of what I have for my digital collection and have a huge playlist saved to random shuffle it on Foobar2000. Wired up an Amp and a mixer, hooked up the speaker system and all and have an 1/4 AUX connection to the laptop. All offline of-course, a very nice setup.
