I and millions of other armed Americans live rural, and I can tell you one God damned thing right now, if they intend to subjugate me, they'll have to kill me and my whole family first because we will not ever live that way, and will die fighting against anyone who dares try to mess with us or our property!!! I am in no mood to fuck around with these assholes anymore, NONE. Many fellow Americans today feel the same way too.

That said: support your local farmer markets, buy local & direct from producers, and exchange contacts!!! Get to know who produces what and when, and buy from them locally!! I bought half a cow last year locally, have most the beef stored in a box freezer, it will last me and my family two years (three if heavily rationed). You can buy bulk beef for less than half the price you'd pay for it by the pound in average stores!! Well worth the investment, half cow will cost around $1.2K to $1.5K these days, depending the source. I also raise chickens for eggs and meat!!! I ain't eating bugs, but I'll feed my chickens bugs lol! I also garden as well buy fresh veggies from local farmers in my area. Sure, I'll drive all the way to Costco to stock up once a month, but that's mainly for re-stocking inventory for the homestead once a month. I also have well water and a rain water collection system and plenty of ways to purify and filter the rain water.

Prep and work hard to become self-sufficient and this won't happen to you, but you must be dedicated and stand your ground!!! If you're not willing to get dirty, or die for it, don't even bother!

Also, another tip, and yes I'm making this into a PREPPER THREAD! A good tip toward energy security is solar panel investment, as well as having a solar panel to power 12V batteries off-grid and investing in a few 5000watt power inverters so you can hook up basic utilizes and power them through multiple 12Vs.

Remember the basics you need: land security (preferably rural or small town outskirts) and firearms, food security (buy bulk foods that have a good shelf life such as canned, frozen foods, dehydrated foods, as well rice/beans/grits/oatmeal/split peas/nuts/pasta/etc) as well raise some livestock, hunt, fish and garden, water security (well water, atmospheric water generator, rain water collection w/ filtering & purification), energy security (wood burning stove to heat the home, solar panels, propane and/or solar generator, power inverters & 12V batteries w/ something to charge them up), fuel security (filled gas cans, stabilizer, motor oils that all your equipment needs).

As time goes by, all this stuff is going to get more expensive and harder to get, so make up your mind NOW…. are you going to prep or are you going to give up and be a slave? That's what it comes down to.
