This model was made for customization. Put some windmills of friendship on it or an illegal foregrip. Do something edgy for the glowniggers plz.
The stl is all flat surfaces, extremely low poly.

Here OP this one is much safer.
Trust me, I'm a 3d printer expert. Reeeeely.
The gun barrel will melt that plastic frame immediately. Even if you use nylon, as the max temp plastic, it'll still melt. Even leaving it in the sun will fuck it up. All the binders in the exotic mix filaments will melt and fuck up too.
As the other anons say, you'll need milling gear and a proper CNC machine to actually make a gun and not an improvised, few shot, bullet exploder. You're going to need tool steel, solid cast as the minimum.
Even the high end sintering machines can't even produce good quality, they have inbuilt cracks as part of their process.
3d printers can only make visual looking weapons with zero functionality. You might want to look up what prisoners used to make improvised guns, they know their shit.

You don't "print" with a CnC milling machine. You carve out steel blocks and you've got precise CAD/CAM data to do that to 1/10,000 of an inch.
Those are for trained gunsmiths. You're talking about owning some wretched patch of unarable land at that price. I'm talking about manufacturing guns that will be worth their weight in gold when the crackdown comes.
Put that in a barn with a diesel generator and racks of car batteries and you're off the grid manufacturing guns. When the USD goes to shit what do you think a pistol will go for?

They will be less than worthless because the crackdown came a century ago and no one used them. The National Firearms Act of 1934. The Gun Control Act of 1968. The Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986. The Clinton Executive Orders. The Lautenberg Act. The HUD/Smith & Wesson Agreement. The Brady Law. The School Safety & Law Enforcement Improvement Act.
No one did anything to stop it. The last time Americans fought gun confiscation was 1774.

It won't dumbass. The barrel is a good distance away from the frame, separated by the recoil spring. On top of that, the heat from the barrel will not radiate nearly fast enough to transfer enough energy into the frame to deform it, let alone melt it.

Doubt they'd ever get that valuable though, the metalwork is literally drilled and threaded and maybe welded pipes, anyone with an ancient lathe can build that, if you don't settle with oil filters, that is, you just need a welder, an angle grinder and a tap to make the adapter.

Barrels are unregulated dumbass. It's a steel tube. You could technically just use a piece of smooth stock, not that it would be very good. If you're truly paranoid and want a rifled barrel, you make your own using either cnc as others have suggested, special tooling on a drill press, or you make an ECM drilling rig.

Ah yes, the $150 dollars needed to buy a Prusa i3 clone from aliexpress is going to make a big dent in the the thousands for a full cnc. You can literally print a nylon glock receiver for less money than a nylon 80% with the added benefit of no paper trail. Sure if you want some sort of sub moa rifle to complete your larp, and are willing to invest thousands to do it, cnc is the way to go.

right you're going to make gun parts from a fucking $150 toy. I've been to big sales pitches where they were selling $5000 3d printers and even those mades stuff that was about as durable as a Revell platic model kit. That was the extruded plastic shit. then there was this powerdered plastic that got sintered and there was fluid shit that got solidified. Making a gun out of that crap is idiocy. $9500 for a fucking CnC machine that will produce a real gun made out of real steel and just about any other machine part you'll want to make and it's all super precise, computer guided.
I remember when Alex Jones was preaching this shit 10 years ago and he brought on this visibly borderline retard kid to rave like a lunatic about M16 receivers made out of plastic from a 3d printer. The only thing you want that's going to be some kind of plastic would be the buttstock, the pistol grip or maybe the forestock. Even then you're going to need to be super picky about the kind of plastic you use.

Print it orienting upright or upside down. Don't print on its side. Set supports to only touch buildplate. Printing upright will cost more plastic and take longer, but will require less post-processing. Printing upside down will be much faster, but getting rid of the supports inside the frame itself and then sanding it will be a bitch. Get Keybase, find our repository, and download one of the Glocks, it will have a really in-depth readme.

Hmmm, It must be quite difficult though? To make a reliable firearm from scratch at home? I say that just because it doesn't seem to be a common hobby (from my distant understanding of burger culture).
How long would it take a skilled amateur to make a pistol 100% from scratch? How many hours work I mean? What are the most constraining materials? Do people make their own powder too?

> It doesn't seem to be a common hobby (from my distant understanding of burger culture).
Because the Jews own all the media you watch, I grew up in rural America and made my first rifle when I was 16 in my dads shop. Lots of Americans do this because it is compleatly legal to make your own guns here. It is in fact extremely common outside of cities.
>How long would it take a skilled amateur to make a pistol 100% from scratch? How many hours work I mean?
Anywhere from a few hours to days, depends on if its a single shot (hours) or semi auto (days)
>What are the most constraining materials?
Metal that can withstand the pressure of a bullet, You can 3d print or make every part out of literally wood if you wanted but the barrel and bolt (bolt is the part that pushes the bullet into the barrel.)
>Do people make their own powder too?
This one is actually the easiest of the lot, you probably think of black powder when you imagine easy diy gunpowder. Hollywood likes to push black powder but its basically primitive shit that is useless for anything you want to do plus its hard to make.
In Mutt land rednecks have been using Birkeland Eyde reactors to make nitrocellulose (guncotton) for pretty much ever. All you need is cotton, electricity and air. A electric High voltage arc contained in a mason jar burns the nitrogen in the air making NOX and a small pump bubbles that air through water where it becomes nitric acid, when the concentration of nitric acid in the water is high enough you dunk some cotton balls or a shred up old cotton tee-shirt in the water and presto, gun cotton.
guncotton is more then powerful enough to substitute for modern smokeless powders unlike black powder.
If you are in a real hurry to make a boom stick you can substitute modern smokeless powder for match heads, yes fucking match heads ground up are just about comparable to smokeless powder in strength believe it or not.
