More and more, the idea of "right wing" or "alt right" "dogwhistles" is becoming prevalent and mainstream on the left. This is slowly but steadily becoming an excuse to censor and destroy any content they don't like, like how they took down a subreddit dedicated to posting Pepe variations for "dog whistles" because some people posted a minor joke about black people in one post one time. The frenworld one, if you're wondering I know, reddit. I needed an example
I find this particularly egregious due to the hypocrisy of it. The left had a very consistent and prevalent narrative of criticizing the right for being "paranoid" and any attempt to overthink events, think of reasoning other than the officially given,distrusting authoritative sources was met with ridicule. But look at what they're doing now. The left's paranoia is absolutely off the roof. Even hand signs were put into the equation one time.
What other examples do you have for the left using "dog whistles" as an excuse to act censorious and authoritarian?

I think the left is concerned with the control of language as the 'means' to control meaning. This is 1984 tactics, but pretty obvious in they redifining of words to fit their worldview, like how racism to them now means "power + prejudice" and not just "negative prejudice."
