its looking at natures ultimate beauty.
ever since man became sentient we gazed up to the stars.
i think it has to do with the ultimate goal of human progress.
you could argue human culure had its roots in stargazing because every society knew the movement of the stars (planets) and the moon.
thats why i love "2001 a space odyssey".
its a pity less and less people value space exploration and its even more a pity light pollution makes it near impossible to watch the stars in many areas
