I see so many people focusing on nofap because of "muh benefits" or "muh days". If you focus on the benefits or days you're going to end up relapsing because your brain will try to convince you that "oh wow look at how far we gotten hahahah it'd be ok to let one out now, I mean look at all your hard work and progression". If you truly want to fucking beat this virus, don't focus on it at all. Focusing on the benefits is also stupid as you will become discourage when you don't gain xray vision after 10 day of nofap, leading to a higher chance of relapse. Porn is bad in general. You don't need to focus on the benefits or days. DON'T let porn control you.

Also important to note that getting addicted to porn has probably worsened other things like loneliness & social anxiety, with those problems then feeding back into the addiction. You can't just avoid pornography; you also have to do objectively positive things, like playing games with online friends or learning from educational stuff, to remind you that the reason you're fighting the addiction is because you're worth fighting for in the first place
