Hi everyone. I've been on/off nofap/noporn for almost half a year now. It's amazing how much of a better head space I'm in now that I've stopped fapping and viewing porn every single day. I want to quit for good, but it's obviously very difficult being a horny hikki. I have it bad. My parents put a computer with unrestricted internet access in my room when I was 8 years old, and I've been hooked on porn ever since. While I can think clearer most days, there are rough patches where I can't think of anything but pornography and will even dream of watching it after a certain amount of time has passed without it. This past week I've sort of convinced myself that viewing it wont lead to any major consequences as long as I don't fap, seeing as how I've been clean for the vast majority of the year. However, after this last depressing valentines day relapse, I realized I'm still just as addicted to porn as I've always been. Even thinking about it gets my heart racing and viewing it makes me feel euphoric, like a tangible drug would. It's enough for me to make any excuse to view it. I just came without even touching myself; just watching some video that wasn't even that good, and I feel awful about it. The way it can physically effect my body like this terrifies me and makes me never wanna watch it again. However, as I'm typing this I'm getting hard again just thinking about said video. Porn is so evil and no matter how hard I try to break free from it I feel like it will always pull me back in. It's by far the hardest addiction I've ever had to kick, and I've done some shit in my life.

Anyways I don't know why I felt compelled to post this. Guilt I guess. I plan on relapsing one more time tonight just because I want it so badly. After this binge though I'm gonna try for another long streak. Might post on this once a day just to ramble and get my thoughts out of my head and onto some virtual paper. Hopefully it will motivate me to stick with it this time knowing that there will be others to report back to daily.

It's not an excuse, but a motivation to approach relapse differently. Every relapse is a learning opportunity. Each time you do it is a time to reflect on your notes.

Don't worry. You kicked this whole thing into motion long ago. As long as you have a net majority of your attention turned toward it, it will pick up momentum, like a satellite in space.

Thanks, I appreciate the reassurance. After relapse I try to embrace that feeling of shame in mind as to use it as motivation to not do it again, though I'm sure taking literal notes of the moment rather than just mental ones will help a lot. Good thing is that the mental notes are working well enough, as I woke up feeling VERY disgusted with myself for intentionally indulging in my absolute darkest fantasies last night. The only thing making me feel a bit better about it is the fact that I got it all out of my system and can now can "start a new beginning", this time with the people of this board rather than alone. (Thanks for taking the time to reply btw. You're good people)

As for other reading material, no, not at the moment. Whenever I need motivation to stick with it I just check out the yourbrainonporn website. It's usually enough to bring me back down to reality. Books on meditation and mindfulness have also helped a great deal in the past and are pretty much the sole reason I was able to kick this whole thing into gear in the first place. Though, it's been a while since I've read any of those. Got any suggestions for me?

Day 1: I feel ok. Had a bit of a mental break down earlier over something not worth freaking out about though. It's insane how much more mentally unstable I've become after just 1 night of unrestricted pmo. Gonna keep truckin along though. Prostate cancer is a western phenomenon. I explained it in previous posts. In the west, people are exposed to visual stimulus constantly. This stimulates the prostate to constantly produce seminal fluid(NOT actual semen, just the fluid). The seminal fluid, in regards to the "inflammatory" excitement response from the visual stimulus will overwork the prostate and create ejaculation urgency. When the prostate is constantly producing seminal fluid in response to visual stimulus, the inflammatory response, and ejaculation happens on a daily basis, it is the recipe for disaster.

This might be the reasoning for head coverings, skirts below the knees and general concealment of the womanly features in cultures. I'm not saying women should wear tents to protect men from postate cancer, but they don't need to walk naked in the streets either…

Avoid the constant visual stimulation. The main thing that exhausts the prostate is that it never gets the chance to completely recover in between ejaculations, but is constantly stimulated to produce seminal fluid as a response to visual stimulus. The visual trigger only increases the production of seminal fluid from the prostate, NOT the actual semen! These are "mixed" together in the body.

When the ejaculation becomes watery and thin, there is not much semen in it and mostly seminal fluid from the prostate. That is a bad sign.

To deal with the inflammation, you can take fish oil daily to boost the production of the good prostaglandins(E1 and E3), and reduce the bad(E2) by taking COX-2 inhibiting herbs like ginger. Ginger is heating to the body though and could upset the stomache so use with care and not constantly. Listen to the body.

Another excellent oil to take is Evening Primrose Oil. It is usually marketed towards women to aid with PMS pains and cramps, but it is adaptogenic and will not have undesirable effects in men.

Saw Palmetto is said to also be good for the prostate, but you need to consult a TCM(traditional chinese medicine) practicioner for the optimal dose since supplement companies have no idea of how these herbs work.

Because of this, absolutely avoid most commercial tribulus terresteris products since it will over-stimulate the production of luteinizing hormone. The "testosterone boosting" herbs will over-stimulate the libido unless the person making the herbal combinations know what they are doing.

The commercial "test boosters" set the body on fire to overstimulate the libido, the end result being the person depleting themselves from ejaculating all the time because it is impossible to conserve the semen in a body that is on fire.

A TCM practicioner will know how to balance the herbs to avoid an overheated body. At day 5 after ejaculation, the testosterone level peaks and it becomes very difficult to resist temptation when the body is on fire. For that reason it is good to learn the microcosmic orbit tao exercise to move the energy in the body.

In the Indian ayurveda, they have principles about hot and cool herbs, and how to balance them in order not to make the body too hot or cool. If you are going to try different herbs to aid in recovery, you have to know exactly how they work and what you are doing to avoid over-stimulation or the wrong combinations.

I was failing terribly when I started a year ago because I considered it to be more of a physical struggle- telling your hand not to fap.

However it is more of a spiritual struggle - rewiring your brain not to thirst after porn/fap. Tackling this part by reading self improvement books and staying off NSFW boards lead me to longer streaks. Creating an iron will is the way.

By the way, regarding the fish and plant oils, you always want a slightly higher intake of Omega 3 than Omega 6. Plant oils are all Omega 6 so if you would take Fish Oil three times a day 1000mg each time, you would keep plant oils like Evening Primrose to around 1500-2000mg a day. This is where vegans mess it up. They all look like they are dying because their plant diets can't give them proper Omega 3. Fish Oil also has vitamin D, which everybody are deficient in, especially those who ejaculate often. The vitamin D that has been metabolized by an animal and is stored in its fat(it is fat soluble, so vitamin D in any other form is a scam) is the one that is best absorbed and utilized by the body. It is absolutely superior. Also get sunshine on your skin as often as possible.

You probably get a lot of Omega 6 in your diet already to outweigh the Omega 3 unless you eat plenty of fatty fish and seafood. Seafood is excellent, but beware of where you get it. You want as far away from Fukushima as possible. Also keep in mind that Asia, Africa and India are responsible for around 90-96% of the plastic in the oceans, and that sea creatures ingest this involuntarily since it breaks down into micro and nano particles. The further away from those continents you get your seafood, the better.

I would say for the average person should take 1000mg fish oil 2-3 times a day and 1000mg Evening Primrose oil, then see how they react to it.

The fish and plant oils will help the body produce the good prostaglandins(E1 and E3). Prostaglandins were given their name because they were first discovered in semen. Fish and plant oils will help the body produce the good ones. These help battle the inflammation.

Prostaglandin E-2 however is the inflammation hormone that you want to avoid becoming too high. If you have a burning sensation in the urethra during or after ejaculation, you have a lot of PGE-2 in the semen. The body needs some PGE-2, like with all hormones in it, but not too much!

Just about everybody can take fish and plant oils(again make sure the balance is right), but if you want to be advanced and take herbal supplements, you need to consult a TCM practicioner since it is dangerous to experiment without the proper knowledge.
