Congrats on going 150 days, that's really impressive! My best was right around there too- it's not easy. It does seem to get less difficult after the first few weeks though, I think that's when the habit starts to break or something.
In regards to your question, although I'm not a furry, I've accumulated some fetishes that are arguably worse, imo. I'll not get into all that, though. In so many words, no, I don't think you can. Once you've wired your brain-body connection to respond to certain imagery/ideas with arousal/pleasure, it seems to be there for good. The best thing you can do is just try to avoid your triggers and not think about it. I think you can replace old fetishes with new stronger ones, but this tends to degenerate from bad to worse VERY quickly- so I don't recommend it at all.
There is the school of thought that you can "pray the gay away" so to speak, and there might be something to that. I suppose it's much the same thing as junkies and alcoholics who realize their habit is destroying them and replace it with a fierce dedication to their spiritual and/or religious beliefs. Still, I don't think that actually changes the way your brain is wired; it just puts new programming in there that is different from the old.
And remember, the fetish isn't the real problem; lacking the will power to resist it is– at least that's what I tell myself.
Best of luck to you!
