Tool or APC? I thought the new APC album was alright. Half was kinda bleh but the other half is straight up improved Mer de Noms. They need to lay down on the production values though. Too many fucking synth shit.

As for Tool. It's gonna be Tool. I don't think they'll ever top Lateralus but even if they shit out an album half as good as that, it'll still be decent.

The solution is to not set expectations. Just listen to it when it comes out and decide what you think then instead of hoping for something now.
