Of their past three albums, I've only liked The Fall.

From listening to these two songs, it sounds like I won't like this album either. It reminds me of some of Metronomy's music for some reason.

gorillaz has always been to me generic pop music trying to sound eclectic (including various genres) and selling itself on the toons gimmick, to folks who thought of themselves as listening to better music than the generic top40, but fail to have any actual knowledge of such music
