I'm currently working on an album that I'm excited about. Progress is steadily being made and generally enjoying the sound of it.

There's no singing in vid related, because I made this in Finale Songwriter with some soundfonts, and I can't sing at all, nor do I really have anything to record with. I did absolutely no real EQing or mastering on anything I've put up so far, so I'd like to go through and do a half-decent job this time. When I salvage enough of these old tunes, I plan on bouncing them through my four track cassette recorder to get a warbly, lo-fi sound. Should I do my mastering before or after this part?

The first song: vocals need to be at a slower pace to match properly to the music underneath, extend it to 3 minutes or more this way. Voice is good, don't waste it trying to sound like others, copying their style or pace, find your own. Lyrics have more effect when you can hear them properly.
I can't listen to it for more than 30 seconds because it sounds like nursery rhymes set to a repeating noise like most rap music.
