I gave this indie tattle an hour's time cause of the hype. Fuck me, is it some miserable tripe. Simply infused with vomit-inducing infantilism.
Every, every fucking where it's all black and white morality WITH A
QUIRK in regards to the world.
For example, say, the very same Sans, knowing that the world can be reset, after so much time did not realize that the easiest way to break the cycle is
suicide. Once you're dead there's no resets for you, and yet the idea of suicide as a way out is not even MENTIONED in conversations with Sans
and Asriel.
Second example is the personification of Flowey and Asriel as two separate personalities, although they are supposed to be the same person.
There's many more things that showcase how infantile the game is, but there's no point in writing them all out. I could mention the simplistic relationships between characters, the tangled timeline, the problems with the plot and how it fits in with the gameplay, but why the fuck would I bother?
Shit's just shit, plain and simple.
Fucking Underkiddies have smeared this whole board with their downie shit, can't TAKE A FUCKING STEP without stepping on some Underdifferently-abled with his shitty scribbles and inane posts.
Undertale is really the most toxic game of this year, something on the
level of Lizzie (LISA) or extra gun (reference to the moment in the
first Mass Effect where the player has to take in that first party
member, and is given three options that are basically "agree nobly",
"agree like a cunt" and "agree like a snide cunt". One of these dialogue options was something like "we could use an extra gun here").
Why does everyone and their dog deify this fucking goat – "oh, mi-mi-mi muh goatmum", while the moment Asgore needed her support the most she ran the fuck off and then treated him like shit for the rest of the game.
Furthermore, why, while we are clearly controlling the same character, why are we presented with different chars in the two endings?
No, I get that it is "lolsodeep, you're a bad guy for playing the game" but it'd be nice if they at least either spoke to the player or to Frisk, not one then the other alternatively. Ain't that some shit.
Why in OFF the devs managed to present in-universe ramifications for the player and the player character being two different entities, and in this game the same concept requires three fucking characters to convey?
