I played the game in 2015. I beat True Pacifist but couldn't go through the door, instead going back to mill about in other routes, before putting the game down for 3 years.
I completed True Pacifist for the 2nd time today. I did my victory lap, I talked with everyone I could. I retrieved all the fallen humans items and stored them safely, then I left. I finally saw the credits and the ending for the first time.
I wish it wasn't over.

Lol it's worse than that. If Toby sticks to solo development he will take an eternity to finish the game. If he decides to form a team, consider what types of people hang around him and consider what types will willingly join ship and what'll they will do to DR. His vision will be muddied and that special magic could be lost. On the other hand he said the game could take 7 years to finish and the first chapter took him 2. Think about that.

That's bad, really bad. Think how long it took him to make this demo(hint, hint, it was roughly 2 years), then think about how long it's going to take to release a full game. It's been 3 years since UT came out and most have moved on. In a weird way I get why he put the time limit. In 7 years everyone will have forgotten about everything, including Toby. In 7 years he'll be close to 40. That's not a pretty picture for him, he'll be entering gambler's fallacy at that point.
I'm convinced he NEEDS a team to get this out of the water and I think Toby knows this better than anyone. It's still way too early to tell, but I hope to God he picks the right people and inside drama doesn't poke a hole through the deck.
